Arrested Development Jason Batement Mitch Hurwitz Will Arnett

“Arrested Development” will be back for one more season, the show’s creator and stars confirmed.

At the The New Yorker Festival today, with the cast in tow, series creator Mitch Hurtwitz said he’d like to bring back the series for a short season before releasing a big screen version of the cult show.

Later, Jason Bateman tweeted, “It’s true. We will do 10 episodes and the movie. Probably shoot them all together next summer for a release in early ’13. VERY excited!”

Johnny Depp will appear on Ricky Gervais’ new sitcom, “Life’s Too Short,” confirms the comedian.

Writing on his blog, Gervais confirmed Depp’s participation while debunking a rumor that Jerry Seinfeld was set to guest star.
