Not only will the traditional crystal ball drop in Times Square on New Year’s Eve, but MTV will literally drop Snooki to ring in 2011.

As part of MTV’s “New Year’s Bash,” the cable network will drop Snooki – inside a ball – in Times Square while other “Jersey Shore” stars lead the crowd in a giant fist pump.
