Most artists are ecstatic just to attend the MTV Video Music Awards, but according to PopEater, Taylor Swift was anything but that.

In fact, the site declares Swift “was terrified to perform” her new song, “Innocent,” which was directed towards Kanye West and the incident last year at the awards show.

Wait, the chart-topper and seasoned performer was “terrified”?

About an hour after Taylor Swift sang her untitled song of forgiveness directed toward Kanye West, the rapper also belted out a tune directed at himself, though the lyrics were far less forgiving.

Dressed in a bright red suit and dripping in gold chains, West debuted the song with “Runaway,” in which he seemingly verbally attacked himself. “Let’s have a toast for the douchebags. Let’s have a toast for the a**holes,” he sang. What do think of his song?

Taylor Swift has forgiven Kanye West in song. A year after West outrageously interrupted Swift while she accepted her award for Best Female Video, the country crooner debuted a new song tonight at the MTV Video Music Awards, and by the sound of her lyrics, she’s absolved him. Swift sang lines that included, “Who you are is not what you did,” And “32 is still growing up now.” What do you think of her song?

A source connected with the awards show told the Associated Press that Swift penned a song about how West interrupted her last year, and she’s going to sing it tomorrow night.

Justin Bieber fans were treated to a free, unannounced concert yesterday.

In advance of his performance tomorrow night at the MTV Video Music Awards, the teen singing sensation rehearsed outdoors for close to two hours near the Staples Center in L.A. Not everything, however, went smoothly.

“So the MTV Video Music Awards will be on Sunday, September 12th, and everyone knows that when you think of rap music and hip-hop, you think of ‘Chelsea Lately,’” said Chelsea Handler at the top of her E! show tonight, adding, “And that’s why I will be hosting them.”

Handler will bring her raw comedy to the stage next month as Lady Gaga, Drake, Katy Perry, and Eminem, among others, via for Moonmen awards. Will you be watching?
