The nominations for the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards were announced on Tuesday.

Rihanna and Drake received the most nominations — 5 each —  with Katy Perry coming in close behind with 4 nods.

It was also announced that Alicia Keys and One Direction will be performing.

“Beyonce FAKED IT… She used a PROSTHETIC Baby Bump at The MTV Awards!!” blares another “World Exclusive” from MediaTakeOut.
The blog says that while the singer is in fact expecting, “She is NOT in her second trimester – she’s only a little more than 8 WEEKS pregnant,” adding, “She wanted the announcement to be dramatic, so she made sure she had a baby bump.” Say what?

“Calderone” gave an angry, expletive-laden monologue about Gaga and fame, then sat down at the piano and delivered a powerful performance of “You And I.”

Adam Levine of Maroon 5 not only won’t be at the MTV Video Music Awards, but he’s not even going to watch them.

“The Voice” judge voiced his criticism of the network today.

Levine first tweeted, “the VMA’s. one day a year when MTV pretends to still care about music. I’m drawing a line in the sand. f**k you VMA’s.”
