Kanye West to perform and now be a guest on Tonight’s Jay Leno Show

Despite Kanye West’s rude interruption of Taylor Swift at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, Gossip Cop is told by an NBC spokesperson that Kanye “is scheduled to” still appear tonight on the premiere of “The Jay Leno Show.” Kanye is slated to perform “Run This Town” with Jay-Z and Rihanna. Kanye will not have to face Leno's questions. A spokesperson tells Gossip Cop, "They are just scheduled to perform." But we're guessing Leno pokes fun at him during his monologue. Hot on the heels of winning Best Female Video, and being interrupted by hip hop horror Kanye West, “The View” has invited Taylor Swift to perform two songs on the talk show. It will be the country singer’s first appearance on the program. It’s ironic but Kanye, who stupidly, allegedly drunkenly, and certainly obnoxiously tried to shine the light on Beyonce with his outburst, ended up inadvertently making Swift even bigger than she was.
