After UsMagazine.com titled a post “Rachel McAdams Flashes Engagement Ring?” – complete with a photo of Morning Glory star wearing a ring – a slew of outlets quickly regurgitated the speculation that she’s engaged to boyfriend Michael Sheen.

Zimbio, for instance, wrote that McAdams “was seen out and about in LA wearing what looked like a diamond engagement ring on her left hand. So either she wants us to think she’s getting hitched, or she actually is heading down the aisle with Sheen.”

Or maybe…

It’s just a plain, old ring.

“This isn’t true – they are not engaged,” a rep for Sheen assures Gossip Cop.

Kim Kardashian has responded to the big reaction she got after she tweeted her disgust with a woman breastfeeding next to her.

On Friday, the reality star posted a message that read, “EWW Im at lunch,the woman at the table next 2 me is breast feeding her baby w no coverup then puts baby on the table and changes her diaper.”

After outlets like UsMagazine.com wrote that Kardashian “slams” the woman, she clarified what she calls a “misunderstood” tweet.

“The woman had her boobs out at restraunt yest feeding then laid her on table and changed her w the food there,” tweets Kardashian, calling it “unsanitary.” She continues, “You DON’T change a dirty at the dinner table…u use the restroom.”

But she emphasizes that she has nothing against the act itself. “My sister breast feeds! Its a natural beautiful thing,” says Kardashian of sister Kourtney and her baby Mason, adding, “But she covers herself, not w her boobs exposed.”

Hopefully, this puts to rest any “controversy” about what Kardashian meant before the boobs who run certain blogs blow it out of proportion.

“Lindsay Lohan Moves Seat Away From Dr. Drew at Movie Awards,” reads a headline from UsMagazine.com.

According to Us Weekly’s website, “Lindsay Lohan avoided a run-in with Dr. Drew Pinsky Sunday at the MTV Movie Awards.”

How?

The site claims “Lohan was originally seated near the addiction specialist, who angered her after publicly speculating about her drug use,” but after she saw “how close they’d be, she moved her seat.”

Very dramatic story, but not very accurate.

Lohan tells Gossip Cop exclusively, “I went to my original and only seat – didn’t even know he was there.”

The actress, who famously slammed Dr. Drew to Gossip Cop in April (“He’s such a loser… He’s not a real doctor, he’s a celebrity doctor”), rhetorically added today, “Why would a celeb reality doctor be there [at the Movie Awards]?”

“Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony Renew Their Vows,” reads an UsMagazine.com headline today.

Us Weekly’s website reports, “To celebrate their sixth wedding anniversary, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony – who renewed their vows in 2008 — said ‘I do’ again at their new Hidden Hills, Calif., estate Saturday.”

Really?

They said, “I do,” again last night?

Interestingly, while the site notes, “The color scheme for the party was black, chocolate brown and white and there were several outdoor lounge areas set up,” UsMagazine.com doesn’t offer one single detail in its article about the renewal ceremony or who attended.

That’s because Lopez and Anthony did NOT renew their vows last night, according to a guest who spoke to Gossip Cop.

Instead, the couple had an intimate housewarming (and sixth anniversary) party at their new Hidden Hills home.

Gossip Cop is told attendees included, Kim Kardashian, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale, Leah Remini, Mary J. Blige and Ryan Seacrest.

“No renewing of vows,” reiterates Gossip Cop’s insider. “It was intimate, under 100 people, family and friends, very chill and relaxed.”

The partygoer adds, “It was a lot of fun and a lot of dancing. Just a great party.”

And that’s all it was – a party.

The site further claims, “The Jersey Shore‘s casting director admits to Blackbook magazine that the entire cast will be replaced for the third season.”

Really?

Actually the casting director, Doron Ofir, did NOT say that in the Blackbook interview.

All that’s noted in the Blackbook piece is the following sentence, “Ofir is currently casting for the third season of Jersey Shore, which will feature an entirely new cast.”

But nowhere in the article does Ofir actually say that.

Nor is it accurate.

A source close to the production tells Gossip Cop, there’s “absolutely no truth at all. We love the cast… The show is a cast-driven show…. If someone drops out, we may want to bring a new person in if it makes sense organically… May even want to do that even without anyone in current cast leaving. But honestly this is false.”  

Assuming Snooki, The Situation and the other amusingly nicknamed stars don’t try to outprice themselves, there’s a strong chance we’ll be seeing them again for Season Three.

In a piece titled, “Paris Hilton Denies Split From Doug Reinhardt,” UsMagazine.com writes, “Paris Hilton and Doug Reinhardt haven’t called it quits,” citing as the evidence Hilton’s tweet from yesterday: “Can’t a girl have a night out in Las Vegas with her sister without fake stories being posted?”

And had the socialite actually been responding to the Reinhardt rumor, the case would be closed. 

But Gossip Cop has confirmed that Hilton’s denial actually referred to a different rumor spread by HollywoodLife and others that claimed she was trying to get her “claws” into Reggie Bush, ex-boyfriend of so-called “enemy” Kim Kardashian.

That rumor, circulated everywhere, suggested that something was going on between Hilton and Bush at Vegas club Tao over the weekend after a photo showing the two of them partying with each other — and many other people — went online.

The Paris-Reggie rumor was, as she tweeted, the one that’s “100% false.”

But Gossip Cop can report (unfortunately) that what’s not false is that Hilton and Reinhardt have gone their separate ways.

Sources close to the (ex) couple say that the reports they have split are “not entirely inaccurate.”

Reinhardt has been in Aspen while Hilton was in Vegas and L.A.

Whether the two get back together down the road is another question, but as of right now, say our impeccable sources, they’re broken up.

A few days ago, in a piece titled, “Source: Elizabeth Taylor, 78, to Wed for 9th Time — to 49-Year-Old!” UsMagazine.com reported that Elizabeth Taylor was going to walk down the aisle for the ninth time with Jason Winters.

According to the site, “A source close to the Oscar-winning actress, 78, tells UsMagazine.com exclusively that Taylor recently got engaged to Jason Winters, 49, of Sterling Winters Management.”

A so-called “insider” was even quoted as saying, “It’s no secret that they’ve been together forever and are in love, so it wouldn’t be a surprise if they were engaged. Right now they are keeping it between them.”

Actually, they are not “keeping it between them.”

Nor is it true.

Dame Elizabeth just tweeted: “The rumors regarding my engagement simply aren’t true. Jason is my manager and dearest friend. I love him with all my heart.”

Guess nine isn’t a charm.

Under the headline of an article titled, “Lindsay Lohan Denies getting Lip Injections,” UsMagazine.com breathlessly reports that “After blogs pointed to a cut on her lip and speculated that she’d had a filler injected to puff out her pucker, the actress, 23, posted a photo of herself on Twitter, and wrote, ‘See! my lips are just as they’ve always been : ) lol-it’s nuts that i feel the need to give proof!’”

Wait, are they saying the picture she posted on Twitter a few days ago was because of a rumor about lip injections?

Really?

Us then quotes another tweet of hers that says, ”Why are all of my friends asking me if I have a cut on my lip? Lol coz I don’t.”

Time for Gossip Cop.

Lohan was NOT talking about any rumored “lips injections,” as Us Weekly reported and was then repeated by the Lemming-like Perez Hilton, who similarly noted, ”Lindsay Lohan wants to set the record straight: she is not a hoarder she did not get lip injections.”

Instead, Lohan was referring to an inaccurate story about how Samantha Ronson allegedly “beat up Lindsay,” leaving her with a cut lip. 

And Gossip Cop corrected that  tale a few days ago, even getting an exclusive comment from Lohan that “none of that [being punched] is true.”

And neither are the UsMagazine and Perez stories true either.

“Exclusive: Tiger Woods’ Yacht Still Docked,” screamed a headline late last evening on UsMagazine.com.

The scoop continued, “Despite reports being made elsewhere, Tiger Woods‘ yacht has not left its marina in Palm Beach, Fla.”

Then, complete with two typos — presumably because they were in such a rush to get this news out — the “exclusive” added, “As of 5:30 p.m. EST on Wednesday, Woods’ $22 million yach (sic), Privacy, remains docked, an eyewitess (sic) confirmed to Us Magazine.com.”

Uh, was the “eyewitness” someone who read Gossip Cop – TWO days ago?

On Monday, Gossip Cop corrected previously published reports, having noted, “The yacht hasn’t budged. Sources in Palm Beach assure Gossip Cop that the luxury yacht is still docked at the marina, exactly where it’s been.”

Sounds like someone at Us Weekly should be docked.

On the cover of this week’s Star, “Angie & Brad’s Dark Secrets Exposed!” the mag also touts, “A shocking new book reveals their fairy tale life is a sick sham that’s about to explode.” 

It is true there is a new book coming out soon by Ian Halperin about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie titled, “Brangelina Exposed.” What’s entirely not true, however, is that the Star had special access to the book, which reportedly contains some eyebrow raising details about their private lives.

In fact, Halperin himself told UsMagazine.com that when he saw the Star story, “I was stunned… I never spoke to [the magazine].”

Wait, it gets worse. Halperin says, “I finished writing the book… hours after the Star story broke!” Oops.

As opposed to the Star’s attempt, if you want to know what’s actually in the book, says Halperin, “I urge people to wait until the real excerpts from the book are published to get the real story.”
