In an unannounced visit, Angelina Jolie quietly returned yesterday to Haiti, where she met with President René Préval.

Jolie, a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, also met with other government and U.N. officials to discuss the situation of Haiti’s children, many of whom were orphaned and left homeless after the nation’s devastating earthquake on January 12.

Under the radar, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt slipped into Bosnia, where they’re now visiting projects set up to assist Bosnians who can’t still return to their homes – 15 years after the war – because their houses and villages are still in disrepair.
