Madea’s Witness Protection will feature Perry as the larger-than-life title grandmother, along with Denise Richards and Eugene Levy, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The writer-actor-producer penned the powerful piece for Newsweek.

In it, Perry applauds the boy’s brave decision to speak out and calls him his “hero.”

Kim Kardashian is set to star in Tyler Perry‘s next film, “The Marriage Counselor,” her rep confirms to Gossip Cop.

Perry will direct the film, based on his play of the same name, about an Ivy League-educated marriage counselor named Judith who doles out advice to others, but has problems with her own marriage.

Kardashian plays Judith’s co-worker Ava.
