An interview with Kristen Stewart on BettyConfidential.com caught a lot of people’s attention today, as part of it seemed… familiar.

The Q&A is presented as a recent conversation arranged during promotion for The Yellow Handkerchief, Stewart’s new film. And most of the discussion sticks to that dramatic role.

But at the end is a very curious bit of Robert Pattinson talk. Gossip Cop has the real story.

Truth rating: 0

When the tabs don’t have actual news to report, contrived controversy will do in a pinch — especially when it comes to “Twilight.” Life & Style declares in just such a piece, “Battle for Breaking Dawn,” that “cast and producers are at odds over the making of the fourth movie in the smash series.”

CLAIM: Police Handcuff Robert Pattinson in New York; Really?

Truth rating: 0

This one was so absurd, we almost thought it was a deliberate joke. But we got a ton of questions and were compelled to investigate. A story getting traction today concerns the New York Police Department handcuffing “Twilight” megastar Robert Pattinson. You read that correctly. “Why on earth… would the hunky Rob… invite the wrath of the cops?” the initial “report” wonders. How about a (fictional) tale of identity theft?

Undressing Taylor Lautner Armani Rumors

Truth rating: 1

Fresh off his SNL hosting gig, is “New Moon” wolf hunk Taylor Lautner now heading to high fashion?
Rumors abound that 17-year-old Lautner is set to become the new face of Armani. Buzz has a multi-million dollar contract already in place for the future Max Steel “to advertise clothes and the brand’s fragrance, but Armani bosses are holding off on announcing the partnership until Taylor turns 18 in February.”
