TJ Lavin, the BMX racer and MTV host who slipped into a coma after a Las Vegas bike accident, has finally gone home from the hospital.

He “crawled out of a deep hole,” his mother, Barbara “Bobbi” Lavin, told the Journal-Review.

TJ Lavin is able to breathe and be fed without tubes and has even started to speak again, according to a friend.

The MTV host was placed in a medically induced coma after a horrific crash during an event in Las Vegas last week.

Lavin’s friend and business associate Chas Aday tells People that Lavin has started mumbling words to his loved ones.

MTV host T.J. Lavin is in a medically induced coma after crashing during a BMX event in Las Vegas on Thursday night.

Lavin, who hosts “The Challenge,” was competing in a Dew Tour date when he lost control of his bike and hit the ground hard.
