Report: Zach Roerig of The Vampire Diaries Fighting Jailed Baby Mama For Custody

Zach Roerig of “The Vampire Diaries” has a two-year-old daughter with a woman who was just sentenced to prison, and now he’s reportedly filed for sole custody.

The actor, who plays Matt Donovan on the hit show, apparently had a child with a woman named Alanna Turner in January 2011, according to legal documents filed in Georgia back in June.

On Friday, one day after the backdoor pilot episode aired, the CW announced that it is picking up the series for next season.

The proposed “Vampire Diaries” spinoff, “The Originals,” will air next Thursday as a backdoor pilot, and Gossip Cop has your first look at the special episode.

The episode will tie into a regular episode of “The Vampire Diaries,” while showing the backstory for the potential new series, which the CW is considering airing this fall.

Kayla Baker, Ailing Vampire Diaries Fan Visited By Stars, Receives Life-Saving Lung

A steamboat captain spotted Showers floating in the water between the St. Louis and Toulouse street wharfs, according to the Times-Picayune.

“The Vampire Diaries” star Nina Dobrev has reportedly been cast in ‘The Perks of Being a Wallflower,’ which stars Emma Watson and Logan Lerman. Dobrev would play Candace, the sister of Lerman’s lead character, according to Deadline.
