BOX OFFICE‘Paranormal Activity 2′ scared up $41.5 million, giving the low-budget film the biggest horror film opening ever.
Coming in second this weekend was ‘Jackass 3D’ with $21.6 million in box office receipts.
And the middle-aged spy ensemble ‘Red’ finishes in third with $15 million. What are you seeing this weekend?

BOX OFFICEThe nation’s connoisseurs of stupid stunts have claimed this weekend’s top spot with Jackass 3D.
Johnny Knoxville and his ragtag crew of daredevils brought in an astounding $50 million at the box office.
Action-comedy Red, starring Bruce Willis, Helen Mirren and Morgan Freeman, took the #2 spot with $22.5 million.
And slipping from first place to third is The Social Network, which brought in $11 million.

UPDATED BOX OFFICE‘The Social Network’ connects with audiences once again, grabbing the weekend’s top spot with $15.5 million in box office receipts.
‘Life As We Know It,’ starring Josh Duhamel and Katherine Heigl as a mismatched couple raising their friends’ tyke, came in a close second with $14.6 million, and ‘Secretariat’ finished in third place for the Columbus Day weekend crown with $12.6 million.
