A homeless man has been living in Ann Curry’s under-renovation Manhattan townhouse off and on for more than a year, and other vagrants have also been using the unoccupied property for shelter.

Police removed the hobo on Saturday morning after he was discovered by a neighbor. Because he was found asleep in the vestibule (and not the house itself), cops did not arrest him.

The unidentified squatter seemed less than concerned with the “Today Show” co-anchor.

“Ann Curry means crap to me!” he told the New York Post. “The reason I lived there was because they chased me out of Central Park.”

Matt Lauer Meredith Vieira The Today Show

A week ago, Matt Lauer couldn’t stop laughing about the phrase “size of the package,” needing “Today Show” co-host Meredith Vieira to come rescue him from his giggles.

This morning, Vieira herself had an on-air snafu, blurting out a four-letter word during a cooking segment.

It was Lauer’s turn to joke about today being her last broadcast.

The star quarterback for the New Orleans Saints led his team to its first Super Bowl win in February.

For a city recovering from Hurricane Katrina, however, Brees’ arrival in 2006 and the Saints’ eventual championship meant a great deal more than just football.
