Sandra Bullock Tops Highest Earning Actress List

While it was a tough year personally for Sandra Bullock, it was a BIG year for her purse.

Bullock, who starred in The Blind Side and The Proposal and walked away with an Oscar (for the former), earned a whopping $56 million between June 2009 and June 2010, making her the highest earning actress, according to Forbes. Who else made the Forbes list?

Kristen Stewart & Dakota Fanning to “Run” to Sydney?

There have been rumblings all day that Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning might head Down Under.

According to buzz, the two stars of The Runaways “may make an appearance” at the Sydney Film Festival in June, when the film has its Australian premiere. A “source” close to festival organizers claims there have been talks about orchestrating a visit by the Twilight twosome (as well as Ewan McGregor), but that nothing had been determined.

Gossip Cop has gotten to the bottom of supposed Aussie travel for Stewart before, so we wanted to vet the newest rumors.

“Clash of the Titans” Comes Back to Beat “Date Night”

After a tight battle that was too close to call until today, Sam Worthington and CGI monsters fended off Tina Fey and Steve Carell.

Clash of the Titans ($26.6 million) won the box office for the second straight weekend, edging new release Date Night ($25.2 million) after final numbers showed the comedy pulled in roughly $2 million less than reported on Sunday.

Most outlets reported late Sunday and early Monday that Date Night had won a narrow victory based on projections.

As expected, Clash of the Titans put up some titanic box office numbers.

The 3D sandals-and-swords extravaganza hauled in $64.1 million (including Thursday’s preview screenings), giving it the top spot on this weekend’s chart.

It’s the best Easter Weekend opening ever.

It either means there’s rain coming, or Famous magazine put a certain Twilight twosome on its cover.

“For weeks Kristen Stewart has known there’s something wrong in her relationship with Robert Pattinson,” writes the tab.

Stewart “doesn’t know exactly what it is” but “says she can feel Rob drifting away.”

Here we go.

“How to Train Your Dragon” won the box office title this weekend with $43.3 million in ticket sales. The film took down “Alice in Wonderland,” which won each of its first three weekends after release. The Johnny Depp 3D extravaganza slipped to second place with $17.3 million.

It looks like early projections for the weekend box office will hold.

Numbers are not yet final, but Alice in Wonderland should win with (roughly) $33 million.

Johnny Depp and elevated 3D ticket prices have powered Tim Burton’s Alice to the #1 spot in each of its three weeks.

Production sources tell us Kristen Stewart does NOT talk about Robert Pattinson tonight on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.”

She does NOT talk about “Eclipse.”

But she does talk about Joan Jett and, of course, her film “The Runaways.”
