Dwayne Johnson and Jerry Bruckheimer are developing a one-hour drama set in the world of 1980s professional wrestling.

NBC has bought the project.

Johnson, who, of course, became famous as WWE superstar “The Rock” before becoming an actor, would be an executive producer on the series.

Savage’s brother Lanny Poffo confirms the news, saying the pro wrestling legend suffered a heart attack while driving this morning in Tampa, FL.

Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) is the victim of a sick, BOGUS death hoax.

According to yet another gross prank, “Actor Dwayne Johnson died while filming a movie in New Zealand early this morning – May 4, 2011.” The report cites police officials as saying Johnson supposedly “fell more than 60 feet to his death on the Kauri Cliffs while on-set.”

But Johnson is NOT dead.

He’s alive and well.
