After a tight battle that was too close to call until today, Sam Worthington and CGI monsters fended off Tina Fey and Steve Carell.

Clash of the Titans ($26.6 million) won the box office for the second straight weekend, edging new release Date Night ($25.2 million) after final numbers showed the comedy pulled in roughly $2 million less than reported on Sunday.

Most outlets reported late Sunday and early Monday that Date Night had won a narrow victory based on projections.

“Miley Cyrus is so in love with co-star Liam Hemsworth that she’s planning to marry him!” announces OK! magazine.

Despite knowing her love interest from “The Last Song” for less than a year, Cyrus is supposedly “talking about a wedding as soon as she turns 18 [in November],” according to an OK! source. “She’s even asked her mom if she can wear her wedding dress.”

The 3D sandals-and-swords extravaganza hauled in $64.1 million (including Thursday’s preview screenings), giving it the top spot on this weekend’s chart.

It’s the best Easter Weekend opening ever.
