BOX OFFICEAmerica’s favorite superheroes continued to dominate the box office in historic fashion.
After shattering records with a $207 million opening, The Avengers earned $103 million in its second weekend, not only throttling the current box office competition, but also topping the previous Week 2 high marks of blockbusters Avatar and The Dark Knight.
Both of those movies took in $75 million in their second weekends — a figure The Avengers easily soared past.

Josh Hutcherson’s drinking is “out of control,” blares a headline from Star, which claims The Hunger Games star is a “nonstop partyboy.”
The mag says Hutcherson “looked wasted at the April 10 Nylon bash in West Hollywood,” quoting an alleged “eyewitness” as saying, “He was drinking like a fish,” and was “glassy-eyed and unsteady on his feet.”

BOX OFFICEThink Like A Man has once again grabbed the top spot at the box office.
The ensemble adaptation of Steve Harvey’s bestseller took in $18 million, beating second place finisher The Pirates! Band of Misfits, which earned $11.4 million.
Nabbing a close third was The Lucky One, which had $11.3 million in ticket sales.
