Justin Bieber is set to star in a street basketball movie alongside Mark Wahlberg.

The drama would be Bieber’s first non-musical leading role.

Wahlberg recently revealed that he and Bieber were planning a movie together, and while he was reluctant to confirm details, a new Deadline report describes the project as a gritty basketball-based drama.

“Christian Bale isn’t quite the devoted spouse he seems to be,” says Star magazine.

According to the tab, even though Bale’s been publicly thanking his wife, Sandra Blazic, when winning awards for his work in “The Fighter,” he’s been acting like a cad “while hitting the party scene.”

“His boorish behavior,” writes Star, “even earned a sharp rebuke from film mogul Harvey Weinstein after Christian pawed at his female friend during the Weinstein Company’s Jan. 30 Sag Awards after party.” Really?

‘The Rite’ Scares Up Box Office Victory

The Anthony Hopkins exorcism thriller “The Rite” debuted at #1 this weekend, earning $15 million to edge out “No Strings Attached,” the romantic comedy starring Ashton Kutcher and Natalie Portman, which came in second with $13.7 million.

Jason Statham’s latest action flick, “The Mechanic,” took third with $11.8 million.
