Following Sandra Bullock’s split from her cheating husband Jesse James, the actress wasn’t sure she wanted to return to the big screen.

While promoting Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close, her first film since her 2009 Oscar win for The Blind Side, Bullock said, “I was perfectly content to be permanently broken.”

Lily Collins, who starred as Sandra Bullock’s daughter in “The Blind Side,” has been chosen to play the lead in “Snow White.”

The acting daughter of Phil Collins joins Armie Hammer, who will play Prince Andrew Alcott, and Julia Roberts, who’s been tapped as the evil Queen.

Sandra Bullock is still riding high, and now she’s got a new Teen Choice Award surfboard to continue on her wave.

Bullock surprised the audience when she stepped onto the stage last night at the Teen Choice Awards to accept her award for Choice Movie Actress in a Drama for her work in The Blind Side. Other winners from the Teen Choice Awards were “Gossip Girl” stars Chace Crawford and Leighton Meester, Megan Fox, and Taylor Lautner. The awards show, hosted by Katy Perry, airs tonight on Fox. While it was a tough year personally for Sandra Bullock, it was a BIG year for her purse.

Bullock, who starred in The Blind Side and The Proposal and walked away with an Oscar (for the former), earned a whopping $56 million between June 2009 and June 2010, making her the highest earning actress, according to Forbes. Who else made the Forbes list?

Who knew Sandra Bullock could rock? Last night, Bullock made a surprise appearance appearance in Tennessee at Nashville Rising: A Benefit Concert For Flood Recovery, which raised funds for those affected by the floods. With an acoustic guitar in hand, the Oscar winner promised to “bring the house down… Nashville style!”

Sandra Bullock made a surprise appearance last night at Spike TV’s Guys Choice Awards, held at the Sony Pictures Studios in Los Angeles.

It was the Oscar-winner’s first public appearance since news broke of Jesse James’ infidelities and her adoption of son Louis.
