Men In Black 3, Smith’s first starring role since 2008, will win the extended Memorial Day Weekend with a $70 million haul, taking the #1 box office spot away from The Avengers, which will finish in second with $48.5 million.

The Avengers was the top movie for its first three weeks of release, and will cross the $500 million cumulative mark domestically.

Military-oriented Battleship will nab third place over the holiday with $13.3 million in ticket sales.
