Donald Trump called in to “Fox & Friends” this morning, and announced his granddaughter’s name.

The real estate mogul, whose daughter Ivanka had a baby girl yesterday, said, “I just left the hospital… The baby is beautiful,” and her name is “Arabella Rose.”

The new grandpa used the opportunity to also weigh in on the current political landscape, noting that if the Republicans don’t nominate a viable candidate, he could jump into the race.

Trump said after the “Apprentice” season is over, he “might do something,” but not as a republican since it would be too late to run as a GOP candidate.

Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner welcomed a new baby, Gossip Cop confirms.

Trump gave birth to a girl this morning.

It’s the couple’s first child.

She tweeted, “This morning [Jared] and I welcomed a beautiful and healthy little baby girl into the world. We feel incredibly grateful and blessed. Thank you all for your support and well wishes!”

“The Apprentice” star and Kushner wed in October 2009, and Trump announced her pregnancy in January.

Trump told Harper’s Bazaar in May, “We have our work cut out for us to ensure that our daughter is grounded and not spoiled.”

Charlie Sheen will definitely not be voting for Donald Trump should the real estate mogul and reality star seek the Republican Party nomination for president.

Last night, while performing his “Violent Torpedo of Truth” show at the BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise, Florida, Sheen was asked what he thought about Trump possibly running, and the former “Two and a Half Men” star told the crowd “why you shouldn’t” vote for Trump.

According to Sheen, when the actor was at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach some time back with Brooke Mueller, “The Apprentice” host knew the two were having problems and wanted Sheen to feel better, so he gave the star what he said were  platinum-and-diamond Harry Winston cufflinks worth $100,000.

Sheen told the audience that Trump then eyed his Patek Phillipe watch, but he wasn’t going to part with his pricey timepiece, considering Trump’s a billionaire, and, as Sheen noted, could buy the watch company if he wanted to.

Fast forward: When Sheen and Mueller were about to separate, the actor said he had an appraiser come to his home to look at all his valuables.

Sheen recalled the appraiser took a look at the platinum-and-diamond cufflinks and told him they weren’t platinum, they were “f’n tin,” and the diamonds were zirconias.

Sheen claimed the appraiser put Trump’s supposedly generous gift at “maybe worth $60.”

Oops.

Of course, there’s a history of bad blood between the two men.

Trump was quoted last month as having once told Mueller’s mom, Moira Fiore, a member of Mar-a-Lago, “You cannot let your daughter marry Charlie Sheen.”

Gossip Cop has reached out to Trump’s camp for a comment, but has yet to hear back.

Ivanka Trump is pregnant!

“The Apprentice” star (and daughter of Donald) and her husband Jared Kushner are expecting their first child.

“I have been wanting to share some amazing news with you all for some time… I’m pregnant!” tweeted Trump.

“We’re very excited,” Kushner tells Gossip Cop.

Proud grandfather-to-be Donald Trump also tells us, “I am very happy for Ivanka and Jared. They are wonderful young people!”

The couple wed in October 2009.

Donald Trump is seriously considering a run for president and may announce his plans after “Celebrity Apprentice” concludes in June.

“The polls are very strong. I am seriously thinking about it,” the real estate mogul tells Forbes.com.

Asked when he might declare himself a candidate, the businessman and reality TV star says he can’t make a decision until “Celebrity Apprentice” ends in June.

He says he’d consider “maybe even using the season finale as a forum.”

“I hate what’s happened to our country,” explains Trump. “I hate what’s going on in respect to how other parts of the world are taking advantage of this country, whether it’s OPEC or China or many others, and I am seriously thinking about it.”

Trump refers to a “recent poll” in which he and Bill Gates “are the only two that beat” President Obama.

Evaluating the current administration, Trump says, “They don’t know what to do. They don’t get it.”

Tiger Woods and former mistress Rachel Uchitel might wind up at the same New Year’s Eve party hosted by Donald Trump.

The business mogul and star of “The Apprentice” will be throwing his annual soiree at his Mar-a-Lago property in Florida.

Uchitel confirms exclusively to Gossip Cop that she will be at Mar-a-Lago.

Whether Woods – whose association with Uchitel since his infidelity scandal broke has been the subject of great speculation – also attends the party remains to be seen.

“I did invite [Woods]. I’m the only guy who has tried to defend him,” Trump tells TMZ.

Comedy Central plans to tell Donald Trump, “You’re roasted!”

The network has announced that “The Apprentice” star and dazzlingly-coiffed business mogul will be its next celebrity roast victim.

“I’ll show up to the Roast because Comedy Central is paying me a lot of money,” says Trump, “But I’m confused as to how anybody could make fun of me.”

The event will tape on March 9, 2011 in New York.

“Donald Trump is a brilliant businessman, who has made the Trump name a worldwide brand. We are so glad he agreed to be Roasted. I’m hoping he buys me a plane,” says network exec Elizabeth Porter.

NBC is launching a new singing competition show to rival “American Idol” and “The X Factor.”

“The Voice of America” will debut this spring, with casting already underway.

Reality TV mogul Mark Burnett, the man behind “Survivor” and “The Apprentice,” is teaming with John de Mol, who created the “Voice” format in the Netherlands and has also had a hand in behemoths like “Big Brother” and “Fear Factor.”

The show features a panel of four coaches who have had careers as recording artists. During auditions, the coaches sit with their backs to the contestants so they can hear (but not see) them.

If a coach likes a performance, he or she pushes a button to send the contestant into the next round, and also claims that contestant as one of his or her “students.”

Once the teams of coaches and contestants are set, they will perform against each other and be subject to viewers’ votes.

“Somebody will show up with all the right moves and look like a star, but their voice is only good, not great, and they don’t get chose. You’re dealing only with your sense of hearing – do you believe this voice is worthy of your commitment?” Burnett explains.

“The coaches have skin in the game and will be a part of the careers of these young performers after the show.”

So far, no coaches have been named.

“90210″ may have the Kardashians, but “Gossip Girl” just got its own dose of star power: Ivanka Trump and husband Jared Kushner.

Trump, who appears on NBC‘s “The Apprentice” with her dad Donald, revealed this morning that she’s switching networks, at least temporarily, to appear on the CW show.

“Jared and I are filming an episode of Gossip Girl this morning,” Trump tweeted today, adding she was “Looking forward!”

Though details on the appearance are sparse, a source on the set tells Gossip Cop it’s just a “quick cameo.”

“Gossip Girl” premieres its fourth season Monday, September 13. Will you tune in?

“American Idol” judge, Simon Cowell, who also created “America’s Got Talent” and produces records, earned more than any other guy on TV. According to Forbes, from June 1, 2008 to June 1, 2009, Cowell raked in $75 million.

Next was Donald Trump, who earned $50 million from “The Apprentice,” book sales, and all the products – ranging from neckties to vodka – that he endorses.

In the number three spot is Ryan Seacrest. With his hosting radio and TV shows, among other endeavors, Seacrest amassed $38 million.

“Two and a Half Men” star Charlie Sheen made the combined salary of thousands of men with $21 million. And the fifth highest-earning guy on primetime was “The Office” star Steve Carell, who took in $20 million.

Rounding out the Top 10 were Howie Mandel ($15 million), Kiefer Sutherland ($13 million), Jeff Foxworthy ($11 million), Hugh Laurie ($10 million), and David Caruso ($9 million).
