Long before she turned 18, Taylor Momsen raised eyebrows with questionable – and revealing- fashion choices.

But The Pretty Reckless singer makes no apologies for her wardrobe in the February/March issue of FHM, telling the magazine, “I love stripper shoes.”

Momsen has been photographed out and about in see-through stilettos that come with a compartment for “tips.”

She tells FHM, “I always try to find the tallest ones. I’m always surprised no one talks about my shoes. I’m, like, on stage in 15-inch heels but people talk more about my eye make-up, which has stayed the same forever.”

The former “Gossip Girl” star also reveals she’s “completely neurotic, totally anxious and high-strung all the time.”

“I sleep for about four hours a night, or day, really,” she says. “I go to bed at 9 a.m., sleep for four hours, then get up and start the day again.”

Momsen adds, “To be honest, I don’t know what to do when I’m not working. I lose my mind if I’m not constantly doing something.”

Kristen Stewart is getting the tabloid treatment again this week, with Star magazine making a baseless claim about the actress and then using an equally silly allegation to cover itself.

According to a “source” for Star, Stewart has been so torn up about work-mandated time away from Robert Pattinson, she’s thinking about leaving her career.

“She’s been in tears, saying she can’t face being away from Rob for too long and that it physically hurts her,” explains this supposed insider. “Kristen even said she’s considered giving up working for good to be with him.”

And what’s allegedly all that keeps Stewart from pulling a Taylor Momsen?

Pattinson supposedly “told her straight out that if she gave up working, he’d dump her,” says Star‘s source, explaining that “part of the reason he’s so in love with her is because of how great an actress she is.”

Let’s get this straight.

Stewart, who’s signed on for major films like Snow White and the Huntsman, suddenly wants to quit Hollywood, even though she and her boyfriend have had frequent extended periods apart since they began dating?

And Pattinson is “so in love” with Stewart, he’ll “dump” her if she decides not to make movies?

The only thing more tortured than Star‘s readers is its logic.

In reality, Stewart is not desperate to retire, and Pattinson did not give her that bizarre ultimatum.

As a source close to the actress tells Gossip Cop, she’s extremely happy with her current career path and has no intention of leaving it behind.

Maybe certain tabloid editors should mull a different line of work.

Taylor Momsen left “Gossip Girl” in November, and now the young star says she’s “quit acting” altogether to focus on her music career.

In a new interview with Elle magazine’s website, the Pretty Reckless singer reveals, “I quit acting. I quit ‘Gossip Girl’ and now tour and am in a band and that’s pretty much all I want to do.”

“Hopefully I’ll be able to only do that for the rest of my life,” Momsen added.

Momsen, who played Jenny Humphrey on the CW series, took an “indefinite hiatus” from the show in November. Six months later, the network announced Momsen would not reprise her role on the following season.

The 18-year-old has been in front of the camera since she was just a toddler.

Blake Lively, Leighton Meester and Taylor Momsen are “at war” on the set of “Gossip Girl,” reports Star, claiming the actresses are “battling it out to be Queen Bee.”

The mag quotes a so-called “insider” as saying, “They know this will probably be the last season of the show for them, and they’re all lobbying for more screen time and the best plot lines for their characters.”

“All three of them feel like their star is on the rise and don’t want the other two to surpass them,” adds the supposed source.

Star claims things came to a head recently when the ladies got into “a nasty argument over costumes,” with Lively and Momsen supposedly flipping out because Meester’s wardrobe budget was increased.

“Blake has had the most success outside the show in feature films, so she was really annoyed about the wardrobe situation because she felt it was done behind her back,” the alleged insider reveals.

However, the tab’s story is nothing more than recycled gossip.

Asked about the rumor, Lively tells Gossip Cop exclusively, “It’s so not true,” adding, “People don’t like it when we get along… unfortunately [for them] we get along too well.”

Once again, Star confuses fact with fiction.

Kelly Osbourne is replacing Taylor Momsen as the face of Material Girl, the fashion line designed by Madonna and her daughter Lourdes.

“Material Girl is thrilled to confirm that [Osbourne] is the new face for 2011!” tweeted the company on Monday.

Lourdes blogged about the search for “the next face of the MG line” back on January 11.

Today, a number of sites, including OceanUp and The True Gossip, ran an interview Miley Cyrus gave to College Cures.

In the “interview,” Cyrus allegedly had a few not so complimentary thoughts about “Gossip Girl” star Taylor Momsen.

When Cyrus was asked what she had in common with Momsen, the former “Hannah Montana” star replied, “The only thing we have in common is our love for music, singing and acting.”

And as for whether the “press has turned a blind eye to Taylor and focused their attention” on Cyrus, the So Undercover lead felt Momsen got a little bit of a break, and explained, ”My fan base has always been a younger audience than hers, but people seem to forget the fact that she’s younger than me; she’s on Gossip Girl, younger people watch that too! Just because I worked for the Disney Channel doesn’t mean that I’m not allowed to grow up and Taylor is. She’s seventeen years old. She has young people watching her, too.”

Of course, there’s one slight – no, BIG – problem with the interview.

Cyrus NEVER gave this interview, a point College Cures later apologetically acknowledged, though inexplicably OceanUp and the ironically titled The True Gossip have yet to rectify.

Once again, this “interview” is as FAKE as the supposed topless cell phone shot of Cyrus.

“Is Taylor Momsen‘s modeling career on the rocks? Reports say the teen was dropped from IMG!” exclaims a headline on HollywoodLife.

“At just 14-years-old, she was one of the youngest girls to sign with the agency,” the site writes, “although it looks like her rebellious antics are costing Taylor more than she expected.”

According to HollywoodLife, Momsen, who was the face of Madonna‘s Material Girl clothing line and John Galliano‘s fragrance campaign, was dismissed by the agency due to her “wild ways.”

So did IMG really drop the “Gossip Girl” actress because of her “provocative” reputation?

Nope.

A spokesperson for the agency tells Gossip Cop, “IMG and Taylor Momsen parted ways over a year ago,” and that it had nothing to do with any discord among the two parties.

“While we realize there is in an interest in the media to connect this to some broader story,” the reps continues, “we have nothing but the highest regard for her and wish her continued success.”

In a section called “Couples News,” Star magazine notes that “Gossip Girl” star Taylor Momsen “clicked in a big way with Jack Osbourne… during the NYC-based startlet’s August visit to L.A. with her band, The Pretty Reckless.”

According to a so-called “insider,” Momsen and Osbourne “hung out in low-key places and found they had a lot in common.”

That “insider” says Osbourne is now “even thinking of trying life in Manhattan to get to know her better.”

Uh, how about getting to know her at all.

Although Star says they “hung out in low-key places,” the tab doesn’t mention one single place where they “hung out.”

The reason?

According to a source close to Osbourne, “Jack doesn’t know that person.”

Whoops.

Guess they don’t even have that “in common.”

Taylor Momsen is 16.

She sings in a rock band, has appeared on a TV show with adult themes (“Gossip Girl”) and dresses provocatively.

But at the end of the day… she’s still only 16.

So it’s with no small amount of disgust that we noticed X17 Online had decided to post an uncensored photo of Momsen performing last weekend at the Vans Warped Tour with a tampon string dangling between her legs.

The censored version is to the right.

While it may be less criminal than distributing photos of minors not wearing underwear (as Perez Hilton implied with his reprehensible Miley Cyrus upskirt photo tweet), X17′s Momsen post is just plain gross.

It isn’t the first time upskirt photos of the starlet have circulated.

It’s no more justifiable this time around.

Whether Momsen’s outfits are “appropriate” is irrelevant.

If you’re a minor, there shouldn’t be an expectation that your crotch can be photographed from below and posted for the world to see.

The Hollywood Gossip devised an exceptionally creepy poll today.

“Justin Bieber vs. Nick Jonas: Who Would You Rather?” asks the site.

Uh…

“The cute singers may be able to relate to each other, but we don’t care,” continues The Hollywood Gossip. “We wanna know who you, the reader, wish to relate to… in bed!”

Eww.

Jonas is 17.

Bieber turned 16 three days ago.

Ugh.

Gossip Cop gets it. We understand teenagers are sexual. We realize Jonas and Bieber are pop heartthrobs. We know it’s 2010.

But… isn’t it awfully creeptastic to ask visitors which minor they’d like to have “in bed”?

Would there be more outrage if the under-18 celebs featured were female? Less? Should Jonas’ well-publicized stance on abstinence before marriage matter?

We’re no prudes, but it strikes Gossip Cop as wrong, just as wrong as it was when sites posted upskirt photographs of 16-year-old Taylor Momsen.

Swift Response:

Wow, the week started off with a bang, thanks to Kanye West and his ridiculously rude interruption of Taylor Swift at the MTV Video Music Awards. You’ll recall his outburst: “Yo Taylor, I’m really happy for you . . . but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time,” leaving Swift speechless and the audience stunned. Well, Gossip Cop found out that he was then tossed, and security was notified not to let him return.

Gossip Cop was way ahead of the curve, reporting that Kanye was still going to perform on the first episode of “The Jay Leno Show,” along with Jay-Z and Rihanna, despite the controversy – and that he was also going to be a last-minute guest. We also had footage of Kanye escaping from New York to California for his Leno appearance. The next day Swift was a guest on “The View,” where she recapped what was going through her mind during the incident. “I think my overall thought process was something like, ‘Wow I can’t believe I won. This is awesome. Don’t trip and fall. I’m going to get to thank the fans, this is so cool—oh, Kanye West is here,” she said, adding, “Kanye West is here, cool haircut, what are you doing there? And then ouch, and then I guess I’m not going to get to thank the fans.” At the time of the morning gabfest, Swift said she hadn’t heard from Kayne, but right after the telecast, he made amends and “The View” released a statement saying, “[Kanye] spoke personally to the country music superstar via telephone and has apologized to the 19-year-old singer. She has accepted Mr. West’s apology.”

Later there was a report that Kanye was possibly suicidal, but that wasn’t true. What is true is that Kanye should steer clear of Pink. The outspoken singer, who tweeted after the VMAs that Kanye is the “biggest piece of [expletive] on earth,” didn’t let go. A couple of days later, while performing in Seattle, she told the audience that she carried a purse with brass knuckles and described the damage she’d have done to Kanye had he tried a similar stunt with her. To quote Swift, “ouch.”

“Sex” Encounters:

There were plenty of “Sex” tapes – and talk. Some of it wrong. A slew of outlets reported that Chris Noth, aka Mr. Big, was engaged. But Noth told Gossip Cop it was “not true.” He later texted us again to say OK! “made up a completely bogus” piece about him. “I have not said I am engaged. Until I do it’s all BS.” (While OK! corrected its error, not surprisingly Perez Hilton later published the original, inaccurate report.) Don’t be surprised, however, if Noth does get engaged in the not too distant future.

We also played Kim Cattrall’s “Sex” encounters on video. OK, it’s not that tawdry but we had great footage of Cattrall signing autographs and posing for pictures with loads of fans in New York, and footage of Sarah Jessica Parker and Cattrall – in a tongue-wagging costume – causing an eruption of excitement among fans and photographers.

Relationship Wrongs:

There were reports that Mischa Barton was dating an aspiring actor named Leo Wyndham for more than a month, but it’s not true that she’s sharing her “Beautiful Life” with him.

The British edition of OK! tried to insinuate that it was Sienna Miller time for Josh Hartnett after the two ran into each in a New York lounge. Somehow the two running into each other and kissing one another hello was turned into them “getting close,” “cosying,” and “canoodling.” The truth, though, is the two are just friends – and that’s it!

In what seems like a desperate attempt to cover their tracks after having incorrectly reported last week that Jessica Simpson was secretly hooking up with John Mayer, this week the tab is beginning to distancing itself from that story – and provide an out – with a pieced called, “John Betrays Jessica Already.” Regardless, both pieces are wrong, since Simpson’s rep told Gossip Cop that the two haven’t seen each other in some time.

Usually we don’t even waste our time with nonsense in the Globe, but there was a story so mean and inaccurate – “Travolta Divorce Shocker!” – that we had to deal with it. The story claimed, “John Travolta and Kelly Preston’s marriage has been so battered in the wake of their beloved son Jett’s tragic death, friends fear they’re headed for divorce!” Well, Travolta’s rep came out swinging, calling the hatchet piece, “100 percent false” and “a very hurtful lie.”

Toward the end of the week was a National Enquirer story titled “‘Braveheart’ & Cold Feet,” alleging that Mel Gibson is having second thoughts about marrying pregnant girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva. We found it odd since we didn’t know there were any marriage plans, and his rep also said he had “never even heard of impending nuptials,” let alone his supposed second thoughts.

Berry Clear:

Halle Berry set the record straight this week when she appeared on “The Jay Leno Show.” After the talk show host asked, “How do you always look so good… you always look terrific,” she thanked him and replied that it “must mean all these pregnancies rumors can be, like, put to bed.” The Oscar winner went on to say she was getting a “complex” from all the pregnancy talk, adding that she had begun to think, “I gotta stop with all the burgers or something.” You would have thought that would have ended the pregnancies rumors, but no. Perez Hilton blogged the next day: “Not so fast, Miz Berry. We’re not convinced.” And where’s Fidel buried, Perez?

Daisy Dog:

Shortly after Jessica Simpson’s dog was snatched by a coyote, the star’s rep gave Gossip Cop some heart-wrenching details about how the family “saw it happen” and “tried to go after, but the coyote took [Daisy] and went.” Incredibly, the next day, there were a number of outlets that were not only unsympathetic but also insensitive – and inaccurate, especially when reporting that Simpson contacted dog-finding service FindToto.com to help locate Daisy. “Jessica Calls in Experts to Aid Dog Search,” said TMZ, and Perez Hilton picked up the story and mocked, “Simpleton Calls in Doggy Experts!” In reality, it was the company that called her and offered their services.

And then there was “Daisy-gate.” Janet Charlton’s Hollywood claimed that Daisy was taken six days earlier than reported, when in the care of Tina Simpson, while Jessica was still out of town working on her new reality show. But instead of people blaming her mom, Charlton said, “although Jessica is beyond heartbroken, she is covering up for her mother.” We’re waiting for next week’s angle about how aliens abducted Daisy.

Miscellaneous Mistakes:

Although Perez Hilton has learned how to cut-and-paste, he still doesn’t know how to read. In an article from the Telegraph that he lifted, it stated that Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe were going to be in the Guinness World Records book for being the “highest grossing lead actors of the decade.” But instead of realizing that Radcliffe’s films earned an average of $558 million and Watson’s movies averaged out to $753 million, “Scoop” Hilton reported that they – the actors – earned that amount of money. Nice try.

Then there was that odd Star story that Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne “wear each other’s things all the time” because “Ozzy gets so confused about which clothes are whose, [so] he ends up just putting on the first thing he grabs,” including Sharon’s jackets. Simply, that story just didn’t fit right.

The Star’s sister publication National Enquirer didn’t fare too well either. In a piece about Ellen DeGeneres titled, “‘Idol’ Threat,” the supermarket tab mistakenly claimed “Ellen doesn’t want the seat in the middle,” but rather the talk show host “wants to be the last judge to offer an opinion so her words will be the final thing ‘Idol’ fans hear on contestants.” Simon Cowell is not giving up his perch nor, as the rag wrongly reported, is “she’s planning to make ‘Idol’ a “kinder, gentler show.”

OK! had a superbadly reported story that said Seth Rogen and Cameron Diaz are feuding on the set of “The Green Hornet.” The mag claimed, “There have been occasions where he’s flown off the handle for no reason, leading her to storm off set.” His rep told Gossip Cop that there was “not one iota of truth” to the story.

And the U.K. version of OK! wasn’t that OK either with its story that reported, “Madonna will perform a duet with Janet Jackson as a tribute to Michael Jackson… after bonding over dinner after Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards.” After hearing that rumor Cop stepped in. There’s no duet scheduled, and Madonna’s rep told Gossip Cop, “They did not meet at or after [the] VMAs.”

Then there was that vacant Lindsay Lohan rumor that she was kicked out of New York’s Bowery Hotel after a fight with Samantha Ronson. According to Hollyscoop, while in a fight with Ronson, Lohan allegedly “threw a room-service tray at what she thought was her girlfriend’s door.” Must have been a pretty long throw because, at the time of the supposed incident, Lohan was in Austin, TX, working on her movie “Machete,” and Ronson was in L.A. Oops.

Weekly Wins:

Among the “wins” for Gossip Cop this week was the exclusive that Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony were given a private tour of the White with their kids Emme and Max, and that while mom and dad spoke to the president inside the Oval Office, Max ran wild around the White House. Later that day the couple went to Capitol Hill, where they discussed education with the Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi.  And that evening they saw the president again at the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute’s annual awards gala, where backstage before Barack Obama spoke, he led senators and members of congress in singing “Happy Birthday” to Anthony, who was honored at the event with a Lifetime Achievement Award.

Gossip Gop was spittin’ mad this week when a site posted “upskirt” shots of Taylor Momsen while on the set of “Gossip Girl.” Taylor is just 16-years-old, a minor, and those paparazzi, who focused their lenses to get an “upskirt” of a minor, should be ashamed of themselves. We can proudly report that after we singled out a particular site for its offensive photos – and sent an accompanying letter urging it to remove the photos because they are invasive and inappropriate – the blog took down the pictures.

‘Twilight’ Highlights:

The week began with a ludicrous story by the Aussie mag NW, which claimed that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart gave an unnamed U.S. magazine a joint interview about their “steamy relationship.” Among the topics covered: the “shock love triangle” that nearly tore them apart, their “intense sexual chemistry,” and the truth about their marriage plans.  None of it is true other than the fact that they have sat down for interviews to coincide with the release of “Eclipse.” Then we cleared up a little confusion about a showing of “New Moon” in Knoxville, TN on November 17 – three days before the highly anticipated movie opens nationwide. It’s a special, charity screening and just Stewart and Taylor Lautner are slated to attend – no Pattinson.

OK!, for the third week in a row, had a ridiculous “Twilight” tall tale. This week’s cover featured a photo of Pattinson and Stewart with the headline, “Wedding of the Year,” and promised inside to have the “the scoop on the big-screen ceremony, plus what to expect when Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson really tie the knot.” Besides the fact that they are not engaged in real-life, as OK! had previously claimed, the article went on and on describing what the “Twilight Saga” wedding looks like. But the wedding takes place in “Breaking Dawn,” not “Eclipse,” the installment they are currently shooting. So how is it possible that they have the “scoop on the big-screen ceremony?” Wrong again.

Fortunately all these false reports haven’t affected ticket sales. In fact, today is EXACTLY TWO MONTHS before the release of “New Moon,” and not only are online sales brisk, but the L.A. Times reported that the film “is selling out screenings earlier than any other movie to date.”

And then the tweet heard ’round the world. Tweeting on Peter Facinelli’s account, Robert Pattinson typed, “Hi, it’s Rob … My first and last tweet. My dad made me do it.” Shortly after that, Facinelli, through his rep, told Gossip Cop EXCLUSIVELY that Rob “relishes his privacy, but we’re hanging out and he wanted to say hi to the fans.”

On a final note, this week we lost Patrick Swayze, star of such films as “Dirty Dancing” and “Ghost.” Swayze, who battled pancreatic cancer, was 57. Gossip Cop remembers Swayze as a guy who, while in the midst of opening his New York restaurant Mulholland Drive Café back in 1990, was gracious and kind to this one-time cub reporter – and throughout the years. He will be greatly missed.

This morning Gossip Cop was infuriated when we received an email containing a link to a site called CelebGossipZ, which had posted an “upskirt” shot of 16-year-old Taylor Momsen.

The “Gossip Girl” star is just a girl, a minor, and so we shot off a note to the site, “urging you to please remove the ‘upskirt’ photos of Taylor Momsen. Not only are ‘upskirts’ inappropriate and invasive, but in this instance the subject is also a minor.” We also asked the site to “please provide us with the photo agency who furnished these offensive photos so that we may contact them as well.”

Score another victory for Gossip Cop.

CelebGossipZ heeded our words, and rightly removed the offensive post from its site. Other sites are now doing the same.

Yes, there’s tremendous interest in “Gossip Girl,” but one thing Gossip Cop is not interested in is “upskirt” photos of the “Gossip Girl” stars – or any other minor.

And that’s why we were infuriated this morning when we opened an email alerting us to an “upskirt” shot of 16-year-old “Gossip Girl” star Taylor Momsen. She’s 16! That’s beyond WRONG.  No one should take “upskirt” photos of a MINOR! There is NO reason EVER why a paparazzo’s lens should be focused up a 16-year-old girl’s skirt. And regardless of what they capture – nudity or underwear – it is, and will always be, inappropriate.

Several websites, including CelebGossipz – which we are NOT linking to – posted the offensive photos along with the caption, “Taylor Momsen gave the paparazzi a little more than they’d bargained for when she flashed her red panties during Gossip Girl filming in New York on Monday, September 14.”

1. Gossip Cop cropped the picture so that you wouldn’t see the “upskirt,” but still get a sense of why we are so angry about this.

2. Gossip Cop has already written a strongly worded note to that site demanding that they take down the photos immediately, and also provide us with the name of the photo agency that took those pictures so that we may contact them as well.

3. Gossip Cop is urging other sites to NOT post “upskirt” photos of Momsen or any other minor.
