The reality star is set to (again) host New Year’s Eve festivities at Tao nightclub in Las Vegas.

She had hosting duties at the venue last year.

The site says at an after-party for the iHeartRadio Music Festival at the Las Vegas club Tao, the two “seemed ultra-friendly.” Ooh.

Gossip Cop recently reported that Michael Phelps and Brittny Gastineau were spotted on an extended date this past weekend.

The two were seen Friday night hanging out at the Mondrian hotel in L.A., and then shopping the following day at The Grove, an outdoor shopping, food and entertainment complex. Now we’re told he was “scared off” by the “media hoopla” surrounding them.

A source close to Gastineau tells Gossip Cop she believes the swimmer and the reality star/designer first hung out on November 6 in Las Vegas at Tao, where Gastineau was celebrating her birthday.

They’ve since been seen together at The Grove and the Mondrian Hotel in Los Angeles.

After marking her 30th with a big bash in Las Vegas on Friday, Kardashian jet back to New York, where she celebrated her milestone birthday at Tao, which was celebrating its 10th anniversary. Among those joining Kardashian at Tao in New York last night were Ciara, “Housewives” Jill Zarin and NeNe Leakes, “Gossip Girl” star Kelly Rutherford, and Adrian Grenier, who was getting his groove on.
