‘Rango,’ starring Depp as an animated chameleon, took in $38 million.

The Matt Damon-Emily Blunt sci-fi action flick, ‘The Adjustment Bureau,’ came in second with $20.9 in ticket sales.

And in third place was ‘Beastly,’ starring Vanessa Hudgens and Alex Pettyfer, which made $10.1 million. What did you see this weekend?

The actor joined Teresa Palmer at a screening of her film “Take Me Home Tonight” on February 3, and there was plenty of hand holding.
