Stephen King Apologizes for Dylan Farrow “Palpable B*tchery” Tweet: I Screwed Up

Stephen King took to Facebook on Tuesday night to apologize for a controversial tweet about Dylan Farrow’s open letter.

As Gossip Cop has reported, Farrow alleged in the New York Times that she was abused by her adoptive father Woody Allen when she was a child, claims he has strongly denied in a statement and through his attorney.

Asked for his thoughts on the situation, King wrote on Twitter Monday night, “Boy, I’m stumped on that one. I don’t like to think it’s true, and there’s an element of palpable b*tchery there, but…”

Stephen King has some harsh words for two of the biggest young adult franchises in recent history, slamming both the Twilight Saga and The Hunger Games series in a new interview.

Speaking to The Guardian to promote his new novel Doctor Sleep, a sequel to his hit The Shining, the acclaimed author is asked for his thoughts on Twilight and whether the series rivals any of his horror hits.

“I agree with Abra’s teacher friend [in Doctor Sleep] who calls Twilight and books like it tweenager porn,” King says.

Javier Bardem is finalizing a deal to star in ‘The Dark Tower,’ the massive film-and-TV adaptation of Stephen King’s epic 7-book series, according to multiple reports.

The Oscar winner would play the story’s central character, gunslinger Roland Deschain.

Ron Howard is planning to turn King’s story into a movie trilogy, with a limited television series bridging the feature films.
