Kris Humphries is “getting back into the dating game,” reports Star, which says the basketball player has a “sexy new babe.”

So, with whom is Kim Kardashian’s soon-to-be ex-husband supposedly rebounding?

The mag claims Humphries’ “new girl” is 27-year-old Latin singer Sammi Benz.

According to an alleged “source” for the tabloid, Humphries and Benz “were casually dating off and on, but it’s starting to pick up.”

Star notes that Benz hung out with the NBA star and his friends at NYC’s Cipriani Downtown on January 29, quoting the so-called “insider” as saying, “They were laughing, very touchy and having a great time together.”

And during Humphries’ birthday celebration at nightclub SL on February 4, he and Benz were supposedly “sitting next to each other, holding hands.”

“Kris seemed really happy, caressing her face,” observes the source.

Well, that sounds kind of strange…

No wonder: A rep for Humphries tells Gossip Cop the story is “completely false.”

And Benz herself also busted the rumor on Twitter, writing, “I’m single. Don’t believe everything you hear & see.”

Jessica Simpson has “been sick to her stomach for nearly two months,” an “insider” tells Star magazine, which characterizes her pregnancy as “Jess’ Baby Blues.”

Her alleged illness is “definitely putting a damper on Jess’ pregnancy,” reports the tabloid, which says Simpson’s been suffering from nausea “all day, every day.”

The Star insider claims, “She’s upset that she’s been so sick. She feels like this should be the best time of her life.”

But it turns out Simpson’s supposed morning sickness misery – like so many stories about her pregnancy – is mostly tab exaggeration.

A source close to the singer tells Gossip Cop she’s doing great, and that she’s endured no prolonged illness while expecting her first baby.

We’re told she and fiancé Eric Johnson are as thrilled as ever about their impending arrival.

In other words, while Simpson has experienced the same bouts of nausea faced by most pregnant women, Star is trying to make “baby blues” news out of nothing.

Kate Winslet and Ned Rocknroll (Richard Branson’s nephew) are secretly engaged, reports Star magazine.

An alleged insider for the tabloid claims, “On New Year’s Eve, Ned suggested they go ahead and get married, and Kate burst into tears and said yes.”

The supposed “source” adds, “It’s unofficial, but he’s looking into having a ring commissioned, and they’re planning an engagement party for Valentine’s Day.”

And that’s not all.

Star claims the couple is also “eager to add to their family,” quoting another source as saying, “Ned and Kate very much want to have a child together!”

What a lovely little story.

However, it’s simply not true.

Calling Winslet and RocknRoll’s supposed engagement “unofficial” and “secret” is the magazine’s way of allowing for the fact that the couple will not be announcing anything.

And when Valentine’s Day comes and goes, and the couple is still not engaged, Star can just say “they decided to slow things down” or make some other excuse for the report being proven wrong.

Regardless, a source close to Winslet tells Gossip Cop the actress is “not engaged.”

“Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale’s reign as rock’s royal couple is coming to an end,” reports Star magazine, which claims the couple is “on the verge of a split!”

A purported “insider” for the tabloid says, “They have a roller coaster relationship, and right now it has flown off the tracks,” adding, “They’re fighting nonstop.”

So what’s allegedly come between Stefani and Rossdale after nearly ten years of marriage?

According to Star, the pair, who have two young boys together, are at odds over her success and his past.

One so-called source says, “When they got together, it was Gavin who had the big career,” but over the years, “He’s had to watch as his rock-star status dwindled and hers soared to stellar levels.”

Moreover, the mag claims Stefani supposedly lost trust in Rossdale due to various “bombshells” about his past, such as his 2010 admission to Details that he once had a fling with cross-dressing pop star Marilyn.

Adds the insider, “Gwen often wonders what other secrets Gavin is hiding,” and “feels like she doesn’t even know” Rossdale at times.

Star goes on to claim that the duo has entered couples therapy, “but it doesn’t seem to be working.”

“Everyone is saying a divorce could happen any day now,” offers yet another unnamed “source,” who declares, “It’s not a question of if; it’s when.”

Hmm…

It’s funny that Star‘s purported “insiders” claim to know absolutely everything about the couple’s supposed martial problems… but they have no idea when they’ll file divorce papers.

That’s because the sources actually know NOTHING about the couple’s relationship.

An actual source close to Stefani and Rossdale tells Gossip Cop the story is “completely untrue,” adding, “They are not divorcing.”

Yikes… It’s been a pretty rough day for Star.

Star magazine claims Lady Gaga’s relationship with “Vampire Dairies” star Taylor Kinney is so “toxic” that she “could end up dead!”

Yes, you read that correctly.

A supposed “insider” for the mag explains, “Their relationship is dangerous, because they completely enable each other,” adding, “They spend their time getting wasted together around the clock, drinking and doing drugs from morning till night.”

According to the tabloid, Gaga and Kinney “indulged in a wild bender of binge drinking, pill-popping, bar hopping and vicious fighting” in San Diego on January 15 and 16.

The pair allegedly “started off first thing in the morning drinking vodka” at Kinney’s house, says an “insider,” who says from there they hit up two local bars, “smoking pot and popping pills along the way.”

“People were shocked to see how wasted they were,” remarks the source, noting, “It was disturbing.”

Star goes on to claim that this sort of risky behavior “is the norm for Gaga and her bad-news boyfriend,” quoting another so-called “insider” as saying, “Taylor is a horrible influence on her because he parties just as hard as she does, if not harder.”

The supposed pal adds that when Gaga and Kinney are intoxicated, “They get in huge fights. But Gaga immediately gives in to him because she’s insecure. It’s pathetic.”

No, it’s sensational journalism like this garbage that’s pathetic.

Basically, Star threw the raciest things it could think of  – drugs, booze, lovers’ quarrels, and even death — into one story, hoping that something would stick.

But there are no facts here.

A rep for Gaga tells Gossip Cop the entire tale is “ludicrous.”

“After years of trials and tribulations, the tide is finally turning for Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas as the couple prepare to welcome another child!” announces Star magazine.

“Michael is giving Catherine her dream gift – another baby,” claims a so-called “insider.”

Indeed, the tabloid reports that Zeta-Jones’ “bumped-up belly” was on display during a January 17 event, and that observers “are buzzing that she is pregnant.”

Star even cites the actress’ absence from the Sundance Film Festival premiere of her project Lay the Favorite as an indication that something might be happening with Zeta-Jones.

Meanwhile, the National Enquirer is also reporting the same baby rumors.

And the outlets are 100% wrong.

A rep for Douglas tells Gossip Cop it’s simply “not true” that the couple is expecting, and Zeta-Jones’ spokesperson adds that the actual reason she did not attend Sundance was that she was busy working on her movie Broken City in New Orleans.

Angelina Jolie is 98 pounds, pregnant and going to rehab, claims Star magazine.

It’s all part of the tabloid’s strategy of squeezing as many rumors into one cover story as possible!

According to “insiders” for Star, “Pregnant Angelina Jolie is facing a frightening health crisis that has her partner, Brad Pitt, begging her to get the help she desperately needs.”

Huh?

The article starts with the premise that Jolie is “expecting the couple’s third biological child” (not true) but that her “weight has plummeted” (not true) and now Pitt is “urging her to enter rehab” (not true).

Star’s bogus story is filled out with the same endlessly repeated – and never validated – details about how exhausted Jolie’s responsibilities have left her, and how she’s “on the brink” of disaster.

One year ago, the same tabloid shamed itself with a bait-and-switch cover story claiming that a “heroin shocker” would land Jolie in “rehab.”

That allegation was nonsense, as have been a number of the mag’s recent stories about Jolie, including last week’s assertion that she and Pitt were about to “split.”

Exasperated sources close to the couple assure Gossip Cop that she is not pregnant, not going to rehab, and not down to 98 pounds.

“Brad & Angelina on the Verge of a Split,” reads the headline of yet another Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie misfire from Star.

According to the magazine, “Insiders fear that the high-profile pair are headed for a split because both are sick and tired of constantly fighting about even the smallest detail.”

Of course, this is same tabloid that reported last week that the couple was “barely speaking to each other” over Christmas (WRONG), and the week before that claimed, “Angelina Walks Out After Discovering the Truth About Brad’s Baby with Another Woman” (COMPLETE FICTION).

In this week’s installment from Star, a so-called “source” tells the mag, Pitt and Jolie “are in totally different places,” with the “free spirit Angelina” wanting to explore the world, while “homebody Brad” wants to retire and take care of the kids.

Then writes the tab, “A separation might not be permanent,” adding a quote from its made-up source saying, “It might just be a case of testing the theory that absence really does make the heart grow fonder.”

Well, absence of facts does not make Gossip Cop’s heart grow any fonder of Star.

For starters, they are not separated.

They are not “testing” their relationship.

They are not “constantly fighting.”

Star has been consistently wrong about Pitt and Jolie.

As Gossip Cop personally witnessed at the Golden Globes, the couple is perfectly fine.

In fact, on Saturday night, they two were pictured (above) smiling together at the Producers Guild Awards in Beverly Hills.

Regardless, a Brangelina insider tells us Star’s story is  ”It’s not true. They’re happy.”

“Pregnant Jennifer Aniston is terrified that she’ll end up alone again, after her boyfriend Justin Theroux stormed out on her during a holiday getaway gone wrong,” reads the opening of this week’s Star magazine cover story.

Yes, the tabloid manages to squeeze two wrong claims into the very first sentence!

Theroux did not run out on Aniston over the holidays, and she is not pregnant.

But that’s not where Star’s claims end!

The “heated blowup” with Theroux allegedly left Aniston “so shaken,” she “broke down in tears and told her ex-husband, Brad Pitt, that she wants him back.”

Star says Aniston and Pitt had a long heart-to-heart (what, was the tabloid listening in?) during which the actress supposedly blurted out: “I miss you. I want you back!”

“Brad tried to soothe Jen by confessing that he and [Angelina Jolie] were also having problems,” a so-called “friend” tells the magazine. “He thought it would help Jen see that all couples have ups and downs, but now she’s thinking he’ll leave Angie for her.”

Oh, and one other thing.

When Theroux and Aniston appeared – together and happy – at a January 9 film screening, reports Star, she “conspicuously covered up her telltale baby bump.”

Uh-huh.

In other words, no one has actually seen Theroux and Aniston having a huge blowup, nor has anyone seen any signs that Aniston is pregnant.

That’s because neither is true.

As much as the tabloids want Aniston to be “pregnant and alone,” heartbroken over an alleged fight with Theroux and yearning for a reunion with Pitt… there’s no truth to any of this.

A source close to Aniston laughed off Star’s desperate speculation.

“Sandra Pleads With Ryan… Marry Me,” reads a headline from Star, which continues to dig itself deeper in a ditch of inaccurate stories about Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds.

According to the tabloid’s latest tall tale, Bullock is “pining” for Reynolds, who’s now dating Blake Lively.

The mag has a so-called “source” say, “Sandra’s still so hung up on Ryan, I think she’d drop everything at a moment’s notice to be his wife if her dream somehow came true and he popped the question.”

Star’s fictitious “source” then adds in an obviously manufactured quote, “It wouldn’t shock me at all if Sandra was still dropping hints to Ryan that he should make her Mrs. Reynolds — even though he’s dating Blake. That’s how crazy she is about him. But it’s one heck of a heavy torch to be carrying.”

That “torch,” says the mag, was “burning brightly” when Bullock joined Reynolds and Lively three months ago at his 35th birthday in New York.

Conveniently, Star had another made-up ”eyewitness” positioned at the party, claiming, “Sandra was being very flirty and attentive towards Ryan — and it was a bit awkward for everyone around their table, Ryan and Blake included.”

Adds another of the tab’s imaginary sources, “It’s got to be tough when the guy you love moves on to someone who’s more than 20 years your junior.”

Of course, Star is the same outlet that made a boob of itself a few weeks ago when it wrongly reported that Bullock was getting breast augmentation surgery over the holidays — she didn’t.

Bullock is not “pining” for be “Mrs. Ryan Reynolds.” Nor is she carrying a “heavy torch” or acting “flirty and attentive” around her The Proposal co-star.

As Gossip Cop has reported over and over and over and over again, Reynolds and Bullock are - and have always been - just friends.

And Star is — and continues to be — just wrong.

A source close to Bullock tells Gossip Cop, the magazine’s most recent story is “entirely fabricated.”

According to Star magazine, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt got into a huge fight over Christmas.

“Sources” for the tabloid claim the alleged “clash” between Jolie and Pitt happened when their daughter Shiloh came home from school one day and asked “why they’re not married.”

What followed began as a “deep discussion” before escalating into a “full-blown argument,” says Star, to the point where the couple was “barely speaking” by Christmas.

(Wow, it’s been a big day for tabs getting carried away with stories involving the Jolie-Pitt children!)

Regardless, the reported Christmas clash is completely “false,” sources close to the family tell Gossip Cop.

Given that Star wrongly claimed way back in December 2009 that Jolie and Pitt had waged “The Fight to End All Fights!” over their Thanksgiving plans that year, maybe the tabloid should reconsider its next manufactured holiday-themed Brangelina battle.

“Jennifer Aniston may be ready to say goodbye to Tinseltown,” reports Star.

A so-called “snitch” for the tabloid says, “She wants to be a stay-at-home wife and mother,” adding, “She’s seen the bitter side of Hollywood and is quite tired of it at this point.”

Star‘s alleged insider goes on to claim that the Horrible Bosses actress “is even getting advice from her BFF Courteney Cox, who supports her commitment to life with Justin Theroux — and agrees that family should always come first.”

What a lovely little story.

However, there’s just one MAJOR problem: It’s completely made up.

A rep for Aniston calls the story “false,” telling Gossip Cop, “She is not quitting acting to become a stay-at-home mom.”

Star should have probably waited until the actress was actually engaged or pregnant to make up tales about her leaving her job to focus on being a wife and mother.

“Zac & Rumer: It’s Serious” reads the headline of a Star story that claims Zac Efron and Rumer Willis are “taking their relationship to the next level.”

The mag reports that after Efron’s failed attempts to win back Vanessa Hudgens, he “finally realized that the right woman had been there for him all along.”

Now, says the tabloid, in addition to a “romantic” getaway in the Turks & Caicos islands with Willis, she’s been “spending the night” a lot time in Efron’s home, and “they’re acting like a couple.”

According to Star, “Zac told Rumer he’s developing strong feelings for her.”

Here’s what’s good about the mag’s reporting: Nothing.

A source close to Efron tells Gossip Cop that the High School Musical star and Willis are strictly “friends.”

According to Star magazine, Jennifer Lopez pays her “boy toy” Casper Smart $10,000 per week.

The reason?

She supposedly doesn’t like paying for him.

“She hated having to whip out her credit card every time they go to dinner,” explains a so-called “source” for the tabloid, adding, “And it bummed her out that Casper had to borrow money from her to buy Christmas presents, including hers.”

That’s why J. Lo is allegedly giving Smart an allowance, says the mag.

“Jen figured it’s easier to give Casper a weekly stipend, and she thought $10K was a nice round number,” says the Star source.

Wait, what?

The “American Idol” judge pays her boyfriend… to pay for her?

Lopez “can take care of herself just fine,” explains the tabloid insider, “but she’s old-fashioned when it comes to wanting the man to take charge.”

This makes no sense.

Smart “takes charge” by taking money from Lopez?

Of course, we then come to the real reason Star is spreading this stipend rumor.

The mag’s “source” describes Lopez’s soon-to-be ex-husband, Marc Anthony, as “livid that Jennifer is throwing money away on this punk!”

In other words, Star just wanted an excuse to write yet another totally fictitious article about Lopez and Anthony.

For months, the tab’s been wrong on the topic, and it just struck out again.

A rep for Lopez tells Gossip Cop the Lopez-Smart stipend story is totally “inaccurate.”

“KHLOE IS NOT A KARDASHIAN!” blares a so-called “world exclusive” from Star, which claims the reality star’s late father, Robert Kardashian, “didn’t believe she was his daughter.”

According to Jan Ashley, who was briefly married to the lawyer after he and Kris Jenner divorced, “Robert never believed Khloe was his biological daughter because Kris cheated on him during the time Khloe… was conceived.”

Ashley tells the mag, “Khloe is not his kid — he told me that after we got married,” quoting her ex-husband as supposedly saying, “You know Khloe’s not really a Kardashian, don’t you?”

And Kardashian’s widow, Ellen Kardashian, tells a similar story to the tabloid.

Ellen alleges that even Khloe herself had doubts about her paternity, saying she “brought it up all the time,” and noting, “She looked nothing like the rest. She was tall, had a different shape, light hair, curly hair.”

Star evidences the fact that Jenner admitted to having cheated on Kardashian in her new memoir, and adds, “He confessed to Ellen that around the time Khloe was conceived, he and Kris were not even sleeping together.”

Wow.

That would be quite the bombshell… if it had even a grain of truth to it.

But once again, the tabloid is completely WRONG about the Kardashians.

An impeccable family insider tells Gossip Cop, “This is ridiculous and NOT true,” and Khloe herself blasted the mag’s story on Twitter, writing, “YOU ARE DISGUSTING!”

She further raged, ”The audacity you have to mention my father’s name like this! Should be ashamed of urself! I let a lot of things slide but this one is really low.”

Jenner also slammed the rumor on “Good Morning America,” saying, “I have never heard such crap in my life” (video below).

Star never fails to surprise us with how low they’ll go to manufacture drama.

Kanye West’s ex Amber Rose claims she and the rapper split because he cheated on her with Kim Kardashian.

In an interview with Star magazine, picked up by its sister company RadarOnline, Rose says, “Kim is one of the main reasons why me and Kanye are not together,” adding, “She’s a homewrecker!”

The model alleges Kardashian and West began hooking up in 2010 when the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star was dating Reggie Bush, and tells tell the tabloid, “They were both cheating on me and Reggie with each other.”

According to Rose, Kardashian “instigated the whole affair by calling, texting and sending racy photos of herself to Kanye.”

Supposedly, the “Master of the Mix” judge confronted Kardashian about the cheating, asking her in an email to “just stop” and “don’t be that person,” but Kardashian ignored her plea.

“It’s not cool. You don’t do that to somebody,” says Rose, claiming she later got revenge on Kardashian by hooking up with Reggie Bush.

Rose explains, “The only reason why me and Reggie got close at one point is because we were both getting cheated on.”

OK, so why didn’t we hear anything about this two years ago when the cheating allegedly occurred?

Because it NEVER happened.

A source close to Kardashian tells Gossip Cop, “This is NOT true,” noting, “Kanye and Kim have been friends for a very long time and they knew each other long before Amber was in the picture.”

Our insider calls Rose’s story complete “bullsh*t.”

Kris Humphries sought “revenge” on his soon-to-be ex by “dating” Kim Kardashian’s “rival,” Dollicia Bryan, according to Star magazine.

The tabloid claims Humphries recently pursued Bryan because Kardashian supposedly dislikes her.

“Kim hates Dollicia, because she was rumored to have hooked up with Reggie Bush while Kim was dating him,” explains a Star insider. “Plus, a lot of people in the industry say that Dollicia is the younger, prettier version of Kim.”

The so-called “source” adds, “Kim sees her as a threat.”

Knowing how much Bryan (allegedly) bothers Kardashian, Humphries “knew that dating her himself would be the ultimate revenge.”

“But unfortunately for him… Dollicia declined,” says Star.

Wait.

So Star went from claiming that Humphries and Bryan are “dating” to saying that Humphries asked her out and was “declined”?

Gossip Cop has learned that even that part is fabricated.

A source close to the NBA player tells Gossip Cop it’s “not true” that Humphries ever made overtures to Bryan.

Humphries is focusing on his basketball career.

Maybe it’s time some of the folks at Star stopped dropping the ball.

“As their films face off in theaters, a battle is brewing between director divas Angelina Jolie and Madonna,” claims Star magazine.

Oh?

Do tell!

According to the tabloid’s “source,” Jolie has been “taking potshots” at Madonna at every opportunity, furious that people have been “drawing comparisons” between her and the Material Girl.

Um… what?

Who, exactly, is comparing the two?

Star never says.

(Because Star made it up!)

Apparently, since Jolie’s In the Land of Blood and Honey and Madonna’s W.E. are both getting attention, and because they’re both famous women, that means there simply must be some kind of horrible feud between them.

“Angie considers Madonna a nuisance and a distraction from her own work,” reports the so-called “source” for the tab, adding that Jolie “said Madonna has no talent whatsoever for filmmaking and that W.E. is a big-screen joke.”

As background, Star cites criticism of such Madonna “cinematic failures” as Swept Away and Body of Evidence.

One tiny problem: Madonna did not direct either of those movies.

Star wants us to believe that Angelina Jolie is upset about imaginary directorial comparisons being drawn between her and Madonna because the singer once appeared in a couple of mediocre films?

According to Star, “Madonna reached out to Angie, suggesting they get together to discuss moviemaking,” only to have Jolie reject her.

That never happened.

A rep for Madonna tells Gossip Cop it’s “totally fabricated” nonsense.

Meanwhile, sources close to Jolie inform Gossip Cop that there’s been absolutely no tension between her and Madonna – about their movies or otherwise.

It seems to us like Star can’t envision two high-profile female directors being at peace with each other and decided to fan the flames of controversy.

“Angelina Jolie is battling a mystery illness that is causing her hair to fall out and speeding up her continuing weight loss,” claims Star magazine.

According to the tabloid, it’s a “dire situation,” and Brad Pitt is “begging her to get help.”

A so-called Star “source” alleges, “Angie’s not doing very well at the moment. She is eating, but the weight is still falling off and she’s constantly exhausted, often going to bed at the same time as the kids.”

An alarmist “insider” adds, “She cries for no reason, and she’s constantly getting colds and the flu. Angie’s hair is falling out, and she often has red patches on her arms.”

Uh-huh.

All of this is fascinating, except that Jolie is not going bald, is not constantly under the weather, is not dropping weight, and does not have patches on her arms.

Apparently, the magazine forgot that bogus claims about Jolie’s appearance should probably be backed up by some kind of observable evidence.

Of course, Star is the same outlet that wrongly claimed the actress wears butt pads and cheats with her bodyguard.

In other words, the tabloid has no clue what’s going on with Jolie.

“The honeymoon is definitely over for Nicole Richie and Joel Madden,” claims Star.

According to the tabloid, the couple’s relationship is in “crisis” as Madden gears up to leave Los Angeles for a stint on Australia’s version of “The Voice.”

Richie is “fuming,” a so-called “insider” tells Star.

“Nicole was opposed to Joel’s doing The Voice from the start, because she doesn’t want to endure the months apart,” explains the tabloid’s source. “But Joel isn’t listening. He insists that he needs to do it for his career and signed on without her OK, which set off a nasty round of fighting.”

Star asserts Richie and Madden spent most of their December 11 anniversary “bickering” about the show.

The “insider” also alleges that Madden “often isn’t around to pull his weight” with the couple’s two children, leading to strain on the relationship.

“Nicole complains all the time that she feels like a single parent,” adds the Star source.

Gossip Cop looked into this, and we’re told the couple made joint decisions about their schedules, and there’s no fighting.

A source close to Richie assures us the Star report is “not true.”

According to a blistering Star cover, the Kardashians are mired in an ugly “sweatshop scandal” involving their fashion merchandise.

The magazine quotes Charles Kernaghan, who serves as executive director of the watchdog group, the Institute for Global Labour and Human Rights, as saying the Kardashians are “in bed with some pretty bad people” and use factories in a region notorious for “slave labor” sweatshops.

Whoa!

Slight problem: Kernaghan himself claims he never specifically tied the Kardashians to labor abuses, and that there’s no proof they’ve personally done anything wrong.

Kernaghan even told TMZ his comments about factory conditions and practices in China’s Guangdong region — not necessarily their factories — were taken out of context to connect the Kardashians to “slave labor” tactics.

In fact, Kernaghan says he advised Star to “wait” before publishing its allegations, because the Institute for Global Labour and Human Rights had not (yet) discovered any abuses among the manufacturers employed by the Kardashians.

Meanwhile, one of the Kardashian businesses specifically mentioned in the Star piece – ShoeDazzle – is hitting back at the Star story.

Robert Shapiro, a ShoeDazzle co-founder, tells Gossip Cop, “We were stunned to hear those false allegations.”

He notes that the company’s chief operating officer, Deborah Benton, has “personally” visited the factories, and that other personnel have ensured that they’re dealing with manufacturing partners “with the highest standards.”

Shapiro emphasizes that Star failed to find any evidence whatsoever, instead relying on out-of-context quotes from Kernaghan.

“We’ll be demanding a retraction, a correction,” he tells Gossip Cop, warning that if Star doesn’t take back the claims, ShoeDazzle will “absolutely” pursue all available “legal remedies.”

“Demi Lovato could find a lump of coal in her stocking if she doesn’t adjust her attitude!” screams Star magazine, with typical holiday cheer.

According to the tab’s “sources,” Lovato was “acting like a complete diva” at the Z100 Jingle Ball in New York on December 9.

Really?

“When Demi arrived, she refused to take the elevator that was being used by other performers,” explains one of these so-called Star “sources,” adding that Lovato instead took a “freight elevator” on the other side of the building.

Plus, the singer was allegedly “wearing sunglasses backstage and wouldn’t talk to anyone.”

And “despite A-list celebs like Lady Gaga and Kelly Clarkson being on hand for the concert,” Lovato “clearly thought that she took priority,” alleges Star.

Hmm.

A source who was at Jingle Ball tells us Lovato was “absolutely not” behaving like any kind of “diva” at the event, and describes the claims as sounding totally unlike the singer.

“It’s completely untrue,” adds a Lovato rep to Gossip Cop.

In other words, chalk up this report as another “Skyscraper” of garbage from Star.

A watchdog organization is investigating the Kardashians for allegedly using “slave labor” to manufacture the products that have helped them earn millions.

The Institute for Global Labour and Human Rights has informed Star magazine that Chinese sweatshops “where workers are abused and virtually imprisoned” make some of the goods the reality TV stars endorse and sell.

“The Kardashians are in bed with some pretty bad people,” the group’s executive director, Charles Kernaghan, tells the magazine, adding, “They are holding hands with a government that spits on democracy and women’s rights.”

Among the suspected ill-manufactured products are the K-Dash fashion label, the Kris Jenner Kollection and Kim Kardashian’s ShoeDazzle company.

The specific allegations about factory conditions in China’s Guangdong region are unsettling.

According to the report, children as young as 16 live in “squalid” dorms that smell of sewage and work “up to 84 hours” per week for almost no money.

Kernaghan describes the factories as being “like minimum-security prisons.”

The Kardashians are denying knowledge of the alleged abuses.

A rep for the family tells Gossip Cop it’s the “first we are hearing of this and take this very seriously. We are investigating the matter as [the Kardashians] do not condone this.”

According to Star magazine, there’s a steamy new “Glee Love Triangle!”

“The on-screen scandals at McKinley High are no match for the real-life romance drama that has pitted costars Chord Overstreet and Darren Criss against each other in fight (sic) for the affections of actress Emma Roberts,” screams the tabloid.

Star says a “source” spotted Roberts and Criss “getting close” at a Paris Hilton-hosted Christmas event in Los Angeles on December 7.

“Darren seemed like he was just there to see Emma,” claims the Star source, adding, “They looked like more than friends, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see them out again soon!”

Overstreet and Roberts, of course, are happily dating.

And Star, not surprisingly, is fishing for controversy.

There’s no Criss vs. Overstreet rivalry for Roberts’ affections.

Roberts and Criss wound up at the same party – that’s the beginning and end of the story.

A source close to Criss tells Gossip Cop there is “zero truth” to the “love triangle” rumor.

Sandra Bullock may finally get revenge on her cheating ex-husband Jesse James, reports Star magazine, which claims the actress is considering slapping him with a $20 million defamation lawsuit.

Although Bullock has taken the high road since her ex publicly humiliated her almost two years ago, supposed “insiders” for the mag say that James’ latest snipe, wherein he referred to Bullock as “some Hollywood actress,” may have pushed her “too far.”

According to an attorney, Bullock “has every legal right to initiate a defamation lawsuit against her ex-husband if she believes that any of the public statements he’s made about her have been defamatory.”

Among the other statements Star deems defamatory include James declaring that Kat Von D was “‘100 percent’ more fun in bed than Sandra,” saying that the year when he destroyed his marriage to Bullock was “the best year of my life,” and writing in his memoir that being married to her left him feeling “empty inside.”

The mag then consults another lawyer, who adds, “If Jesse keeps revealing personal information about Sandra, she could also stop him by suing for an invasion of privacy.”

“To prove invasion of privacy, Sandra need only prove that Jesse is disclosing intimate details of her private life,” explains the attorney.

OK, so basically Star presents an argument that Bullock could maybe possibly sue James.

But the real question, and the only one that really matters is, does she actually have any plans to do so?

The answer is a flat-out NO.

A source extremely close to the actress tells Gossip Cop the lawsuit story is “completely false.”

Perhaps Star should spend a little less time exploring legal theory and a bit more time actually reporting on celebrities.

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez may not currently be engaged, but the teen heartthrob’s “family is still worried that the hot-and-heavy couple are moving too fast,” begins a piece in Star magazine.

According to the tabloid’s source, the young lovebirds “spend way too much time together,” whether hanging out or talking on the phone.

“And each call ends with professions of love, need and desire,” claims the supposed insider.

That’s not all.

After conferring with Gomez, Bieber supposedly talked to his family about popping the question, causing a major argument.

“His family thinks they’re way too young to know what marriage is all about,” alleges the source.

So are wedding bells really near?

Not at all.

“False again,” a rep for Bieber tells Gossip Cop of Star’s claims. “He has no intention [of proposing] nor ever brought it up.”

“Jessica’s Wedding War!” blares a headline from Star magazine, which goes on to claim that Jessica Simpson’s father is ordering her to marry Eric Johnson before she gives birth.

An “insider” for the tabloid says Joe Simpson, a Baptist minister, is “very upset Jess would want to have a child out of wedlock,” and is “trying his best to convince her how important it is to him and her mother that she get married before bringing a child into the world.”

Simpson’s dad is allegedly “pleading with Jessica non-stop” to let him officiate a “small backyard ceremony” like he did for Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz in 2008, one week before the younger Simpson announced her pregnancy.

The mag’s so-called insider says Joe will “keep pushing Jess to let him marry her and Eric right up until the day she gives birth in the spring,” and that his interference in her wedding plans is putting an awful “damper” on Simpson’s baby joy.

Of course, this is the same publication that wrongly reported Simpson was starving herself to get thin for her nuptials; paying Johnson to marry her; and that she stole him from his previous wife, so it’s a bit difficult for Gossip Cop to believe anything they claim to know about the singer-actress.

Regardless, we checked in with a source close to the family, who tells us no one is trying to interfere in Simpson’s wedding plans, which are still slated for after she gives birth.

The new Star magazine cover has Jennifer Aniston proclaiming, “I’m Pregnant – With Twins!”

“Months of fertility treatments make her dream come true,” announces the tabloid, which says she and boyfriend, Justin Theroux, are going to be parents.

According to a so-called “insider,” the actress “was sure early on that Justin was The One, so they’ve been trying for a baby for a while” and turned to fertility drugs for assistance.

So when’s the big announcement?

Well… don’t expect one too soon, because the tabloid made up this entire story.

Rather than producing even a shred of evidence that Aniston is actually pregnant, Star quotes “one of her neighbors” who says Aniston “seems to have a baby bump” and is “always hanging out on the couch and eating Haagen-Dazs.”

Seriously.

Also, Aniston has supposedly cut back on booze and is “practicing her mommying skills” by spending time with friends like Sheryl Crow and Courteney Cox who happen to have children.

Meanwhile, even though Star sells the story as a pregnancy announcement, at the very end of the piece the magazine mentions that Aniston herself won’t reveal the supposed development for “a while.”

Don’t hold your breath.

She’s not pregnant.

A rep for Aniston tells Gossip Cop the report is 100% “not true,” even mocking the magazine by joking that she’s really pregnant with “triplets.”

And then we all shared a good laugh at Star.

RadarOnline reports, “In the wake of Miley Cyrus’s busty appearance at Sunday’s CNN’s Heroes 2011 awards, a trio of experts told Star magazine that there’s a strong indication the ‘Hannah Montana’ star went under the knife to achieve the voluptuous new look.”

The webloid cites three different surgeons as saying that Cyrus likely had implants, while admitting that “none of the doctors had treated Cyrus previously.”

According to one doctor, “Her breasts are very nice and round and it looks like she has had them done.”

The physician adds, “Whoever did them did a very good job. She might have had small implants, which is nice, because she is a small girl with a small frame.”

Another surgeon says, ”The outline of the implants are [sic] clearly visible in the inner lower portions of her breasts,” explaining, “Even a large weight gain would not produce breast enhancement to this degree without implants!”

However, this story is just as fake as Cyrus’ supposed implants.

A Cyrus pal who actually sees the singer-actress on a regular basis, unlike RadarOnline’s “experts,” calls the report “ridiculous,” telling Gossip Cop, “She never had breast implants.”

And Cyrus herself just tweeted, “These babies are all mine. I wish they’d realize you don’t have to be fake to be beautiful!”

“Kris Humphries is preparing to write a tell-all — and blow the lid off his 72-day marriage to Kim Kardashian,” begins a piece in Star.

According to the hapless magazine, “With things getting uglier by the day, he has been meeting with top NYC literary agents and mulling over offers to do just that.”

But that’s not all.

The tabloid reports that part of “Kris’ plan of attack” is to do a “documentary on his short yet dramatic life with the reality star and her family.”

The reason for his upcoming literary and film assaults, says Star, is that he doesn’t like how he was portrayed on “Kourtney & Kim Take New York” as a “bullying, insensitive husband,” or how he was roped into “a fake train wreck.”

So when can we expect the tell-all and documentary?

In about a week from… never.

Whatever issues Humphries may or may not have with the Kardashians, he’s not going to air them publicly.

A rep for the basketball player tell Gossip Cop that the Star story is “not true.”
