“After he proposed, Eva and Eduardo jumped into the water together,” claims a so-called “source” for the mag, explaining, “They’ve found their soul mate in each other.”

Wow, so is Longoria really now taking the plunge again after her divorce from Tony Parker?

No.

A source close to Longoria tells Gossip Cop the story is “not true.”

Katie Holmes just filed a $50 million libel lawsuit against American Media, Inc., owner of Star magazine, which recently ran a cover suggesting the actress uses drugs.

Holmes is furious with the tabloid and contends the story is defamatory.

Star‘s cover featured a photo of a tired-looking Holmes below the cover line, “ADDICTION NIGHTMARE – Katie DRUG SHOCKER! The real reason she can’t leave Tom.”

The story was a total bait and switch, which Gossip Cop busted when it first came out in January.

Inside the tabloid, Star wrote that Scientologists use a device called an “e-meter,” which “emits a low-level electric charge that goes to the brain” and gives its user “a temporary feeling of euphoria, followed by a crash and a craving for more,” the way opiates do.

The article NEVER actually stated Holmes uses drugs, though the actress believes the cover clearly misleads readers to believe she does.

Star has repeatedly published pieces that claim Holmes’ and Tom Cruise‘ marriage is in trouble and that she’s miserable.

Hilary Duff is “about seven weeks pregnant with her first child,” according to a report in Star magazine.

The tabloid claims actress and her husband Mike Comrie have “happily shared” the news with family and friends.

But the story is 100% false.

“Hilary is not pregnant,” a rep for Duff tells Gossip Cop.

She and Comrie wed in August 2010.

“Pregnant Bride?” asks Star magazine about newly engaged Reese Witherspoon.

According to the tab, “The mom of two was spotted buying a home pregnancy test in a Brentwood, Calif., CVS/pharmacy.”

Adding to its claim, Star writes that Witherspoon recently “revealed a noticeably rounded belly while out in L.A. in early December.”

So, are Witherspoon and Jim Toth preparing a shotgun wedding?

No!

A rep for Witherspoon tells Gossip Cop the pregnancy rumor is “not at all true.”

Angelina Jolie is the victim of some pretty dirty tricks in this week’s Star magazine.

“WASTED! Rehab For Angie” shouts the cover, which promises a “heroin shocker.”

The real “shocker” is how Star thinks it can get away with this total misrepresentation.

According to the mag, Jolie “looked utterly exhausted and out of it” at the Berlin premiere of The Tourist, with one “insider” saying observers wondered “if there was more to it, like she was on drugs or something.”

Allegedly worried about her after a “secret collapse at home,” Brad Pitt has “implored” her to get help, with a tabloid source explaining, “He fears that she’s slowly destroying herself and that it’s time for rehabilitation.”

Rehab for what exactly?

Well, Star can’t say, of course.

The magazine’s “insiders” allege that Jolie is coping with stress by drinking a bottle of wine a day and popping Ambien at night. Pitt is supposedly terrified that she could “overdose.”

But what about the “heroin shocker” blaring on Star‘s cover?

The mag doesn’t have one – just a reminder Jolie used heroin years ago, then raising the possibility she could relapse.

It’s a particularly nasty bait-and-switch.

And if you’re wondering why no other outlets that covered The Tourist premiere had mentioned the world’s most famous movie star looking drugged out and unsteady, it’s because it’s simply not true, as sources tell Gossip Cop.

Gossip Cop also reached out to several sources and none could back up Star‘s claims of Jolie allegedly collapsing or popping pills.

Rihanna and baseball player Matt Kemp have reportedly split.

The Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder supposedly grew tired of Rihanna’s demanding travel schedule, while the singer “basically was just over it,” according to Us Weekly.

A rep for Rihanna has yet to get back to Gossip Cop after several requests for comment.

Rihanna and Kemp began dating last year and were almost immediately the subject of (wrong) engagement rumors.

Just a week after news got out that Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens had split up, Star magazine is already linking the actor to a new leading lady.

The tab first quotes a so-called “insider” explaining that among the reasons for his and Hudgens’ breakup was that Efron has “so many women throw themselves at him. He couldn’t resist and was tired of hiding it.”

Now that he had nothing to “hide,” reports Star, “the latest to catch Zac’s eye is his The Lucky One costar Taylor Schilling.”

A “source” for the magazine says, “There was instant chemistry.”

But like our experience with chemistry in high school, this too blows up.

A source close to Efron tells Gossip Cop that talk of him dating Schilling is simply “not true.”

“It’s Courteney Cox‘s first Christmas without her estranged spouse of 11 years, David Arquette,” writes Star magazine. “But she’s not staying at home stewing.”

According to the tab, Cox and “her beau and Cougar Town costar, Brian Van Holt, are planning a cozy getaway, likely in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, or Hawaii.”

Star quotes a so-called “friend” as saying, “She intends to make this an amazing time with Brian,” and notes Cox is “insuring that the trip is extra special… by stocking up on $5,000 worth of lingerie at La Perla.”

Really?

First of all, Gossip Cop has previously reported that Cox and Van Holt are “friends,” not lovers.

And despite talk of her “planning a cozy getaway” and “insuring that the trip is extra special,” an actual Cox confidante assures Gossip Cop, “She is not going away for the holidays.”

Britney Spears doesn’t let haters ruin her birthday.

Just days after Star magazine and RadarOnline published totally fabricated reports claiming boyfriend Jason Trawick abused Spears, he whisked the pop star away for a romantic weekend.

The couple spent her 29th birthday on December 2 at a private villa in Conchas Chinas, near Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Trawick surprised Spears with her favorite dessert – a red velvet cake shipped from Los Angeles.

Spears tells Us Weekly, “My birthday weekend away with Jason was amazing.”

In fact, the singer calls it the “Best birthday of my life!”

Isn’t it great when real life has a happier ending than the fairy tales tabloids write?

Star and RadarOnline must think we’re high.

The outlets behind this week’s faked “Britney Spears” phone calls with ex-husband Jason Alexander are back at it, posting audio that purportedly contains Spears talking about smoking pot.

“The Britney Spears audio tape scandal is getting bigger,” declares Radar, which has released a new clip in which “Spears” and Alexander discuss her supposed early morning jealousy over boyfriend Jason Trawick.

“I smoked my f**king joint, and I went back to bed,” the “Spears” voice tells Alexander.

“You know I got the best pot in California,” replies Alexander, “So if you really want to smoke any pot you gotta holler at me.”

This marijuana “confession” would be a bit juicier if Gossip Cop hadn’t already revealed these audio recordings to be phony, and if the real Spears hadn’t already laughed at them and told the outlets and Alexander to kiss her “lily white southern Louisiana ass!”

Needless to say, it is not actually Spears on the new “confession” audio, and Radar’s story flames out.

Just weeks after Gossip Cop debunked an absurd story from Star magazine about an alleged “marriage deal” between Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise, the magazine is at it again.

This week, the tab paints a negative picture of the couple, claiming that their recent fourth anniversary was “unhappy” and that Cruise and Holmes are “living separate lives.”

What example does Star use?

Holmes supposedly felt “so alone” while filming her scenes for Jack and Jill in Florida on November 18 – the couple’s anniversary. “She honestly thought that Tom would be there to celebrate the milestone with her,” a so-called “source” tells the tab.

Really?

Uh… no.

On their special day, Cruise was filming Mission: Impossible 4 in Dubai.

A source close to Holmes tells Gossip Cop the couple knew well in advance they wouldn’t be able to spend their anniversary together due to their filming schedules.

Moreover, Holmes’ rep calls the “separate lives” allegation in the story “hilarious” because once back in Los Angeles, Cruise and daughter Suri “came by the [Jack and Jill] shoot to hang out at the end and take her home.”

When it comes to tracking stars, Star seems a bit lost.

Picking up a story from the Daily Mail - without bothering to fact-check it – Perez Hilton writes, ”Although we can’t even begin to imagine how difficult the divorce from her husband Tony Parker must be right now, sources close to Eva Longoria are maintaining that the actress still wants to be a mother, and is looking to adopt a child from Haiti!”

He then quotes “insiders” as saying,”Eva had her heart set on adopting a child from Haiti. She so wants to be a mother. She wanted to adopt with Tony, but she’s happy to go ahead as a single parent and is very excited after what’s been a dark period.”

Perez further editorializes that Longoria is being “selfless to look beyond her own pain and still focus on what’s important to her!”

And that would be incredibly selfless, if it were true.

But a source close to the “Desperate Housewives” star says she has no plans right now to adopt.

You’ll recall the same week that Longoria and Parker announced their split, Star magazine embarrassingly reported that the couple was in the midst of adopting a child.

“Sandra Bullock‘s family of two is about to get a little larger – she’s in the process of adopting again!” exclaims Star magazine.

According to a source for the tabloid, Bullock “knows one is not enough. She can’t wait to relive this whole experience with another child – this time she wants a girl.”

And not only is she currently in the process of adopting a little lady, says the mag, she’s also using the same New Orleans agency that found her adorable son Louis.

“They already have the initial paperwork from the first time around, and they have several children who need homes now,” claims the alleged “insider.”

The article then rattles off how Bullock “can’t wait” for when she and her daughter will be able “to shop and do their nails together.”

One slight problem: Bullock is NOT – repeat, NOT – in the “process of adopting again.”

A rep for the Oscar-winning actress tells Gossip Cop that Star magazine’s story is “completely false.”

According to Star magazine, Kristen Stewart “isn’t exactly thrilled with her bod – and now her beau, Robert Pattinson, is trying his best to change her mind about getting breasts implants.”

Huh?

A so-called “insider” tells that tabloid, “The other day, [Stewart] admitted to him that she feels she’s too flat-chested and is considering going up a cup size… She knows a lot of actresses give their natural curves a helping hand – and her nearly nude scene in Breaking Dawn is freaking her out.”

The same supposed “insider” says Pattinson “told her that she’s beautiful just the way she is and has nothing to be insecure about.”

The last line, of course, is Star‘s way of already distancing itself from its own story.

When Stewart does NOT get a boob job, the tabloid can always weasel its way out of being wrong by saying Pattinson talked her out of it.

Anyway, Gossip Cop checked into this story, and a source close to the Welcome to the Rileys star tells us Stewart is NOT thinking about getting her breasts done.

The only thing fake here… is Star‘s reporting.

Star magazine, which (wrongly) claimed Jessica Simpson was preparing a “kiss and tell” memoir and (ridiculously) linked her to Tiger Woods, has never had a good handle on reality when it comes to the singer.

So when the tabloid alleged that she’d bought her own engagement ring and “cajoled” Eric Johnson into proposing… well, we were more than a bit skeptical.

As it turns out, we had good reason to be.

Gossip Cop has confirmed that Star‘s premise of Simpson forcing Johnson to pop the question with a ruby-and-diamond ring she’d purchased is flat out wrong.

Opposed to Star‘s assertion that Simpson had given Johnson a “now or never” ultimatum, a source close to the singer/actress tells us that she was “completely surprised” by the engagement.

And while Simpson is certainly the wealthier half of the couple, our insider says she “did not buy the ring.”

Quoting a so-called “insider” – which clearly is bogus – the mag says Longoria has been “checking out adoption agencies and researching the process” because  she and Parker “hope to welcome their child next summer, when her show, ‘Desperate Housewives,’ stops filming.”

Oops.

As Gossip Cop noted earlier today, Longoria just filed for divorce.

Perhaps Star should adopt better reporting practices… in South, Central and especially North America.

Once again, the tabs attempt to stir up controversy between Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey.

Star magazine reports that Simpson, who has been divorced from Lachey since 2006, is “crushed” about her ex’s engagement to longtime girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo.

A so-called “source” for the tab claims Simpson “hates that Nick is engaged and she’s not” because “it’s a glaring reminder that it’s been five years since they broke up and she still hasn’t made it to the altar again.”

According to this same “source,” Lachey “called her to tell her [about his engagement] so she didn’t read about it first, and she offered a half-hearted congratulations.”

First, a source close to Simpson tells Gossip Cop that Lachey “did not” reach out to the singer to notify her of his news.

But more importantly, Simpson herself addressed the engagement on Ryan Seacrest‘s KIIS-FM radio show today, saying, “I couldn’t be more happy for Nick.”

She adds, “You know, our relationship was over a really long time ago, so it would be nice if everybody could move on with us and really just celebrate the love between him and Vanessa. I do, and I wish them nothing but the best.”

“Blake Lively is single and ready to mingle – with Adrian Grenier,” begins a piece in the current issue of Star.

According to the tab, Lively, who recently split with her “Gossip Girl” co-star Penn Badgley, “seemed flattered by Adrian’s avid attention” at a Vertu phone party in New York.

The Star has a so-called “source” who says, “As Blake was chatting with Seal, Adrian came over, and the three started talking about the elections,” but when the singer left, “That’s when things got interesting.”

The tab claims the “Entourage” star was “glued to Blake’s side for most of the night, and he made sure they exchanged phone numbers.”

This is a great story, except for one teensy weensy oversight by Star.

Lively and Grenier NEVER met or spoke to each other at the Vertu party.

It’s true Lively talked to Seal, but multiple source tells Gossip Cop the actress was with her sister Robyn Lively and brother-in-law Bart Johnson - and NOT with Grenier.

A rep for Lively adds the Star story is a “blatant lie” and “complete fabrication,” confirming to Gossip Cop that Lively and Grenier “never saw each other” at the party.

Star magazine takes another shameless turn this week with a cover story announcing that as a “final gift” to wife Catherine Zeta-Jones, Michael Douglas is taking measures to give her a “new baby.”

According to the tab, Zeta-Jones has long wanted another child, but the older Douglas was reluctant to expand the family.

But his recent treatment for throat cancer, however, has allegedly changed his mind, says Star, and a so-called “insider” claims that the actor recently “broke down and told her that he wanted her to be able to have another baby with him more than anything.”

The couple has two children together — son Dylan and daughter Carys. Star alleges that Zeta-Jones’ “baby dream” for a third could come true.

“Family sources believe he decided to have his sperm frozen before starting treatment,” continues the magazine’s “insider.”

A baby “would give both of them a new lease on life,” Star says of the couple.

Instead of wildly speculating about the private lives of a family already under duress, maybe the tabloid should get its facts straight.

“It’s not true,” a rep for Douglas tells Gossip Cop about the baby story.

Star magazine has a rich history of poor reporting on Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.

Whether it’s claiming that Holmes plans to write a $15 million tell-all about their marriage (not true), insisting that Cruise bought daughter Suri a $100,000 castle (not true), alleging that Cruise doesn’t allow his wife to use his gym equipment (not true), or just casually fabricating Suri’s summer at a day camp, the tabloid is never satisfied to stick to facts alone.

Now comes a cover story promising details of the couple’s “broken home” and their alleged “marriage deal.”

According to Star, “lies, spies and bitter fights” have been driving Cruise and Holmes apart, threatening a relationship that is “more fractured than ever.”

At the heart of the tabloid’s story is the staggeringly ridiculous idea that Cruise and Holmes have a “marriage contract” that will pay Holmes $10 million for a second baby. Now, she’s supposedly “stalling on the deal” by wanting to wait before giving Suri a sibling.

Oh, but Holmes herself is allegedly angry, because Cruise “promised” her a role in Mission: Impossible 4 as part of the deal, “and he never followed through on that.”

Since the contract is “valid until 2012,” says an “insider,” Holmes is feeling trapped and frustrated.

That’s kind of how Gossip Cop feels whenever we read a Star hit piece on the couple.

A rep for Cruise calls Star‘s creative cover “absurd,” while a spokesperson for Holmes flatly tells Gossip Cop it’s just “fabrication after fabrication.”

The tabloid declares solemnly, “One thing is certain: Someone will have to compromise for this marriage to continue.”

If anyone has expertise in “compromising,” it’s Star.

“As Michael Douglas bravely battles throat cancer, he’s hoping for the best but preparing for the worst by updating his will,” begins a piece in this week’s Star magazine.

The article goes on to detail how Douglas will leave his homes in various countries, including the U.S., Canada and Bermuda, to his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones, and their kids Carys and Dylan, as well as how he allegedly will divide his money.

Additionally, Star claims “Diandra, who divorced Michael in 2000 after 23 years of marriage (with five of those spent in legal wrangling), hasn’t been forgotten either.” According to the tab, the Wall Street star is throwing her $1 million.

Here’s what Star got right: The spelling of Michael Douglas’ name.

Here’s what Star got wrong: Everything else.

A rep for Douglas tells Gossip Cop that the Star‘s story is “ridiculous,” and that the Oscar -winner “did not change his will.”

In fact, Douglas, who’s recuperating from chemo, “will have a good laugh” over the part about him updating his will for his ex-wife Diandra, says the rep.

Hopefully, laughter will be the only medicine needed now as the actor-director recuperates from his cancer treatment.

“Kim Shows Off Her Baby Bump!” exclaims Star magazine about Kim Kardashian, who the tab reports has been seen sporting “baggy clothing, weight gain and a telltale belly.”

Added to that, the magazine notes that Kardashian once said she’d like to have a baby by 30, and with her big 3-0 in just 15 days – she must be pregnant.

Not proof enough?

Really?

OK.

Star further claims Kardashian was recently “noticeably curvier than usual and tried to disguise her body with loose-fitting, layered clothing and a long scarf.”

Still not on board?

Really?

Fine.

The tabloid also quotes a so-called “insider” as saying, “Kim’s friends are buzzing about her being pregnant.”

Well, not the friend Gossip Cop spoke to – and who knows the truth.

According to our source, who’s close to the reality star, Kardashian is “definitely NOT pregnant.”

Guess the only thing fertile here are the imaginations of the writers at Star.

In a section called “Couples News,” Star magazine notes that “Gossip Girl” star Taylor Momsen “clicked in a big way with Jack Osbourne… during the NYC-based startlet’s August visit to L.A. with her band, The Pretty Reckless.”

According to a so-called “insider,” Momsen and Osbourne “hung out in low-key places and found they had a lot in common.”

That “insider” says Osbourne is now “even thinking of trying life in Manhattan to get to know her better.”

Uh, how about getting to know her at all.

Although Star says they “hung out in low-key places,” the tab doesn’t mention one single place where they “hung out.”

The reason?

According to a source close to Osbourne, “Jack doesn’t know that person.”

Whoops.

Guess they don’t even have that “in common.”

Anna Kendrick and Michael Cera are “taking their chummy relationship to the next level,” claims the tabloid.

The Scott Pilgrim vs. the World co-stars are heating up, says Star, which quotes a sources as saying, “Michael’s been crushing on Anna for a while,” and “one thing led to another.”

It seems like “one thing led to another” also describes how many Star items get printed. If only they “led” to fact checking.

They are “absolutely not” dating, a rep for Cera tells Gossip Cop.

Michael Douglas has gone through a rough period in his personal life, including the recent news that he is in treatment for throat cancer, but he can always rely on the support of wife Catherine Zeta-Jones.

And one thing Gossip Cop can always rely on is shoddy reporting from Star magazine.

According to a “source” for Star, the couple feels that “renewing their vows is a perfect idea” with their 10th wedding anniversary coming up in November.

It’s a lovely sentiment… but based on nothing.

Douglas and Zeta-Jones do have a happy marriage, but a rep for the actress tells Gossip Cop, “They have never had plans to renew their wedding vows.”

The real question is why anyone would renew a subscription to Star.

The editors at Star magazine have again accused Ashton Kutcher of cheating on wife Demi Moore, this time with a woman named Brittney Jones.

Now Kutcher’s attorney has struck back.

“Star Magazine continuously publishes lies about Ashton Kutcher and many other celebrities. This is not the first, nor will it be the last time they engage in reckless conduct,” said lawyer Marty Singer in a statement.

This week, the tabloid publishes an account of July 24, when Jones and her family were supposedly seated next to Kutcher, Moore and friends at Lucky Strike Lanes, a bowling alley in Hollywood.

An alleged flirtation there eventually led to a July 27 rendezvous at the couple’s home while Moore filmed a movie in Detroit. Jones tells Star that she and Kutcher “made love on the couch” in his living room.

Kutcher supposedly ended the fling during a second meeting.

Of course, Star takes Jones’ details of her wild night with Kutcher at face value, never bothering to check with additional sources. And the only hard piece of “evidence” it can summon is a mythical July 25 Facebook posting allegedly by Moore (since removed) that shows the napkin on which Jones gave Kutcher her phone number.

It strikes us as odd, and awfully convenient for Star, that Moore would publicize Kutcher’s “betrayal” to a million fans… but that nothing would be reported for more than six weeks.

This isn’t the first time Star has tried to brand Kutcher as a “cheater.”

The tabloid recently claimed the actor “kissing and groping a hot young blonde” at Los Angeles restaurant Madeo. Kutcher was so incensed by Star‘s fabrications, he personally challenged the rag on Twitter. The star labeled the story “defamation of character” and accused editors of “writing fiction.”

When Gossip Cop called the tab’s offices to see if it stood by its reporting, there was no response.

We expect Star to be just as quiet this time, but the hole the magazine is digging for itself just keeps getting deeper.

Lazy minds think alike.

This week, In Touch editors borrow a page from the gang over at Star, lifting rumors from low-grade Angelina Jolie biographer Ian Halperin that suggest Brad Pitt has engaged in an “ongoing flirtation” with a French flight attendant named Racine.

Of course, in its continuing, laughable campaign to create the illusion of a Brangelina rift, In Touch takes the story in a slightly different direction.

Halperin informs the tabloid that Pitt speaks with the Air France flight attendant “several times a week,” and that someone who “has seen Brad and Racine together say they are an amazing pair.”

Did this “someone” forget that “Racine” supposedly works for a private jet company – not Air France — according to Star‘s version of the same “flirtation”?

Just asking.

Because there are no actual facts behind this story, In Touch pads the nonsense with a veritable Pu-Pu platter of its previously debunked theories for unrest between Pitt and Aniston.

The mag recycles last week’s notion that Pitt is “looking better than ever,” making Jolie worried that she’ll lose him. There are also references to the end of a supposed feud between Jolie and Jane Pitt, as well as Jolie’s mending of fences with dad Jon Voight, itself an example of In Touch-concocted tension.

The tabloid writes of these imaginary events as though they’re instances of Jolie “bending over backward” to keep Pitt.

But along with the “Racine” rumor, they’re actually just In Touch‘s flights of fancy.

Does Star magazine translate its stories into English from obscure foreign sources?

It might explain why the tabloid seems to have so much trouble with the meaning of words.

For instance, Star‘s claim that Brad Pitt has been “caught” in a cheating scandal, as the tabloid blares on this week’s cover, would lead one to believe that the accompanying story actually explains how the actor is caught in a cheating scandal.

Too bad the mag kind of forgets to include that part.

In fact, despite the cover promising to give “the incredible story” behind Pitt’s alleged affair, the tabloid provides nothing of the sort.

Instead, it supplies a ridiculous bait-and-switch about as tasty and filling as airplane food.

A French model named Racine who moonlights as a flight attendant “may also be Brad Pitt’s secret lover,” reports Star, which cites discredited biographer Ian Halperin‘s vague blog scribblings about the woman’s sexual history.

Racine supposedly works for a private jet company that A-listers “including Brad” use when flying between France and the United States. “It’s during those flights that Halperin says the stunning woman likes to have sex with married or attached men,” relays the tabloid. Halperin quotes the attendant as saying that she’s “slept with at least three men [Angelina Jolie] slept with.”

That’s it.

The flight attendant never says she’s had an affair with Pitt.

No one else says the flight attendant has had an affair with Pitt.

In fact, the only thing Star says is “certain” is that “women like flight attendant Racine are always going to be a threat.”

To recap: Star magazine goes from claiming on the cover that Pitt’s been “caught” in a cheating scandal with a flight attendant to saying that the woman — whom it’s possible Pitt has never met — poses a “threat.”

Gossip Cop has “caught” the tabloid making yet another Mile High Flub.

“Tori Goes Gay,” reads the headline of an item in Star magazine about celebrities and their assistants.

The article claims, “No Girls Allowed at Tori Spelling‘s house: She prefers gay men to serve on her staff.”

Really?

According to the tab’s unnamed (and unreliable) source, “Tori is really insecure about losing her husband Dean McDermott, so she doesn’t want to have any cute young chicks running around… She’d rather be safe than sorry.”

Not only is this quote completely fabricated – since no real person would say in conversation, “her husband Dean McDermott” - but the entire piece is also made up.

A rep for Spelling confirms to Gossip Cop there’s “no truth at all” to the article, especially since “she has a female assistant.”

Whoops.

Star magazine just can’t bear to let a peaceful situation be without elbowing aside accuracy.

For instance, Katie Holmes is now filming The Kennedys in the Toronto area, but she’s not providing frustrated tabloids with any controversy.

So Star decided to invent some for her four-year-old daughter.

“There are some unhappy campers in Toronto,” the mag claims, as Suri Cruise is allegedly “at the center of her own drama” at Bayview Glen Day Camp, near where Holmes shoots.

The tab says some counselors and parents are “upset by the special treatment she receives.” Camp personnel “bend rules to accommodate her,” dishes one so-called “insider.” What’s more, Cruise supposedly “has a security detail and special handlers,” making other families “uncomfortable.”

Some of that might make sense — if any of it were true.

Surprise! It’s not.

A rep calls the item a “complete and total fabrication,” and tells Gossip Cop that Suri is not attending day camp anywhere.

Hopefully the “unhappy campers” at Star are better at arts and crafts than they are at reporting.
