Celebrities are taking to Twitter, reacting to the news that Kim Kardashian has filed for divorce from Kris Humphries after just two months of marriage.

While some stars are mocking the reality star’s short-lived union, most are reaching out in support of Kardashian.

Kelly Osbourne wrote, “@KimKardashian thinking of you stay strong don’t listen to the haters listen to your heart! xoxo.”

Fellow divorcee Brandi Glanville tweeted, ”I’m sorry but I’m so Happy KimK is dropping that tool! She can do waaaaaay better!”

“Hoping the best for Kim,” wrote Russell Simmons.

Lisa Rinna looks at the short union as a teachable moment. “Well I think the big lesson is being learned by all,” she writes. “Keep your family lives private your wedding should never be on tv. Sad for them.”

As for the pricey presents the former couple surely got on their August wedding day, LuAnn De Lesseps says, “Def return gifts or donate them to a charity and do some good!”

Samantha Ronson took a jab at Kardashian, saying, “Wait, so it was actually a real wedding?”

Not leaving it alone, she later tweeted, “can he change his name back to ‘C’hris now?”

Spencer Pratt also called out the reality star, saying, “Will @KimKardashian make more money from the wedding storyline or the divorce? #hustler.”

The Roots frontman Questlove took the humorously oblivious approach, writing, “… Wait, Kim Kardashian got married?”

Yesterday, Gossip Cop reported that Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt were going to tie the knot again – and they did.

As the sun set over the beach in Carpenteria, California, Pratt and Montag said “I do.”

“[This time] it’s just me and my bride on a little secret beach with nobody else and it’s just about her,” said Pratt.

Well, it wasn’t exactly just them and “nobody else.” “Entertainment Tonight” just happened to be there.

Nevertheless, Montag said their last trip down the aisle “was about everyone but us, so this is really our first wedding about Spencer and I and our love.”

“Now I feel like I can finally just be Heidi and just be in a marriage and just be a person. I’m just really enjoying every day,” she added.

The couple, who have been open about their financial problems, had Montag’s gown, Pratt’s suit and even their wedding cake and rings donated.

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are getting married today, the couple told a radio program in Sydney, Australia.

“This is such an exciting day, if only you guys knew what we were doing today,” Pratt told the hosts of The Kyle and Jackie O Show. “You guys have the exclusive wedding — I mean, exclusive interview.”

When asked what Montag was wearing, Pratt told the interviewers that it would be a surprise, “Unlike our last scripted wedding.”

Montag was not in a wedding dress during the phone call, saying, “I have curlers in my hair as we speak.”

“For me, this is my first wedding,” continued Montag, explaining that her first trip down the aisle with Pratt was overly produced and contrived. “It was just so awful, and everyone was so mean, and no one there wanted us to get married, they just wanted a show.”

“This is real,” Montag said of today’s planned festivities, which Pratt said would happen at a “secret location” on the beach.

Halloween got off to a frightening start last night when Heidi Montag hosted a party at the Las Vegas club Pure.

Spencer Pratt, who was not a host, dressed as some kind of alien, while the surgically enhanced Montag simply wore a gold dress.

This marks the first time since April the couple, who filed for divorce and then reconciled two months later, have walked a red carpet together.

The two were openly affectionate with each other throughout the night at the club.

What’s the scariest part – Pratt’s outfit? That the couple is back together? Or that a club is still paying Montag to host parties?

It looks like America’s favorite couple has decided to give it another go.

Heidi Montag reportedly filed a motion to dismiss her divorce from Spencer Pratt in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Wednesday.

While the couple has been seen together a number of times since Montag began divorce proceedings in July, only yesterday did she make their reconciliation official, according to TMZ.

It was a busy summer for the on-again, off-again pair, including a prolonged saga involving a purported Montag sex tape, as well as Pratt’s arrest for carrying a gun at the airport in Costa Rica.

Apparently Spencer Pratt can get arrested.

The publicity-seeking reality star was busted for illegal possession of a firearm at an airport in Costa Rica, reports TMZ.

Pratt was heading out of Costa Rica when he was nabbed. He was reportedly then booked, briefly jailed, and released after handing over the weapons.

Pratt explains in a statement: ”As part of my spiritual cleansing I’ve spent the last week living alone in the jungle, reflecting on my past transgressions, and working to become a better person. I had to live off the land, and hunt to survive. As I departed the country this morning to continue my spiritual journey, I mistakenly brought my hunting weapons to the airport. It was an honest mistake, and they sent me on my way.”

Spencer Pratt has apologized to wife Heidi Montag for his recent behavior.

The former reality TV star, who reportedly tried to force Montag into doing another series by threatening to release an alleged sex tape, expressed remorse as most husbands do — in an e-mail to the Associated Press.

Pratt describes his conduct after Montag filed for divorce as “outrageous and infantile.”

He admits his error in making “certain private issues public” and “horribly embarrassing the one person who meant the world to [him].”

“The Hills” alum also said that he hopes to improve himself and handle the breakup with dignity from this point forward.

Karissa Shannon, the Playboy Playmate who alleges Spencer Pratt stole a camera containing private sex footage, is reportedly threatening to sue Pratt to retrieve the sensitive material.

Her lawyer has sent Pratt a letter claiming that he is in possession of video “taken from [Shannon],” and demanding that it be returned immediately, according to TMZ.

While Shannon now reportedly claims the footage Pratt has features her and boyfriend Sam Jones, in the past the Playmate made reference to material filmed with Pratt’s estranged wife Heidi Montag.

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have reportedly ended negotiations with Vivid Entertainment to release a sex tape.

In a letter to Vivid kingpin Steven Hirsch, Pratt’s camp claims that his estranged wife “made it very clear that she is not interested” and that “it looks like she pulled the kill switch,” according to TMZ.

Supposedly, the letter adds, “Spencer’s not interested in further destroying their relationship by pursuing an avenue she’s so vehemently against.”

Hmm.

Pratt’s reluctance to go against Montag’s wishes represents a bit of a departure from his previous tactics.

For now, though, it seems like that part of the couple’s private life will remain private.

Karissa Shannon, the Playboy Playmate who claims to be Heidi Montag‘s sex tape partner, alleges that Spencer Pratt stole the footage.

“There is a sex tape of me and Heidi,” confirms Shannon, who adds that Pratt was not there when they shot it.

“It’s just me and Heidi, that’s it.”

Shannon tells RadarOnline Pratt stole the explicit video.

“Me and Heidi were hanging out at her house in Malibu and he came over to pick up some stuff and he ‘accidentally’ took my camera,” claims Shannon.

“Spencer had no right to steal my camera. There are other things on there that I don’t want to come out, including the video of me and Heidi.”

The Playmate says she doesn’t want the tape to be seen by the public.

Somehow, the Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag sex tape story has managed to get even worse.

On Friday Gossip Cop confirmed that Pratt had spoken with adult video powerhouse Vivid Entertainment about selling footage he claims shows the former couple having sex.

Now there is a report that Pratt and Montag met up in Costa Rica, and he’s told his soon-to-be ex-wife he intends to release the (purported) explicit video unless Montag agrees to do another reality series with him.

According to TMZ, Pratt says he arranged the meeting to give Montag two of their dogs, then demanded she rip up their divorce papers and consent to a reality series exploring their fractured relationship.

He claims Montag always knew that his only goal was to become famous, and says, “You cannot turn off the Speidi machine.”

The site describes Pratt as “very clear” that he plans to make public a “flurry of sex tapes” if Montag refuses to do more television together.

On Thursday, news broke that Pratt intends to write a tell-all book about their marriage, prompting Montag to threaten legal action.

Always one to reveal everything, Spencer Pratt says he’s (not surprisingly) writing a tell-all memoir about his relationship with estranged wife Heidi Montag.

And, as one might expect, Montag is none too pleased.

Pratt, whose divorce from Montag is expected to become final on Valentine’s Day 2011, tells Us Weekly he won’t be “holding anything back” in his new book, which will reportedly delve into Montag’s complicated relationship with her mother, Darlene Egelhoff.

For her part, Montag seems unsurprised but determined to fight her ex’s plans.

“This is exactly why I left him,” she tells TMZ. “Right now I’m looking into my legal options.”

According to the site, the musician “is rumored to be pining over” Montag, whose divorce from Spencer Pratt reportedly becomes official on Valentine’s Day, 2011.

HollywoodLife cites British outlet Reveal, which says Mayer “has already started flirting and asking her out. He likes the Barbie doll, no-brains type of girl.”

“As soon as Heidi filed for divorce, John swooped in on her,” adds its so-called “source.”

In passing along this ridiculous story, HollywoodLife says, “We’re not sure if we totally believe John… would truly lower his standards like this.”

The site’s own “standards,” however, are apparently low enough to post the rumor and run it beneath a headline implying that it’s true.

It is not.

A source close to Mayer describes the story as “total” bull to Gossip Cop.

The rocker may not be chasing romance with Montag, but HollywoodLife is again chasing shock over substance.

A couple built on spectacle reportedly has one more stunt up its sleeve.

The divorce between Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt will be finalized on Valentine’s Day, according to TMZ.

Jodeane Farrell, Montag’s attorney, tells the site Pratt has officially acknowledged that he was served with divorce papers on August 13.

As California law dictates that the divorce take effect six months after Pratt is served — and with February 13, 2011 being a Sunday — the split will actually go on the books February 14.

In a scant 62 words, the blogger manages to insult Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, the English language, and his readers’ intelligence.

Hilton posts a normal photo of Pattinson from last night’s Teen Choice Awards, describes him as having a “Stewie Puss Puss face on,” and speculates, “What did that bitch do now?”

Charming.

According to Hilton, Pattinson “didn’t look to (sic) happy” about being by himself at the ceremony. “His hair doesn’t look did, he looks more disshelved (sic) than usual and what is up with the King Spencer creeper beard???”

Actually, Pattinson looks like… well, Pattinson.

And despite Hilton’s comparison, we’re not really seeing the Spencer Pratt similarity.

Of course, the blogger once said Pattinson looked like an Avatar character. At least he’s on the right planet now.

As for the cheap shot at Stewart, the only sourpuss in this story is Hilton.

Despite rumors that their separation is just a publicity stunt, Heidi Montag has officially filed for divorce from Spencer Pratt.

Montag filed the papers today in a Santa Monica court house.

The couple, whose relationship was chronicled on “The Hills,” split in May and legally separated the following month.

They wed in Mexico in November 2008 and again in California on April 25, 2009.

Pratt recently said the marriage fell apart because he’s a “famewhore.”

Spencer Pratt says he and Heidi Montag split because he is too consumed by celebrity.

Really.

“We love each other but I’m a famewhore and I’ll never grow out of it, Pratt tells People.com. “[Heidi] knows that and doesn’t want that.”

While the show that launched the couple to stardom, “The Hills,” concluded its run last week, Pratt is more intent than Montag on staying in the limelight.

“I want every kind of press,” says the reality TV bad boy. “There’s no way my love for fame and her love for puppies will ever work out successfully.”

While Montag “just wants to hike and hang out and be calmer,” Pratt claims, “I’m the same Spencer who went on ‘The Hills’ to be famous. I still need to do stunts and take cues from Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise.”

Pratt, who now describes himself as “an artist,” insists that his split from Montag is absolutely authentic. Among the skeptics who have expressed doubt that the couple’s divorce is real are former cast mates Audrina Patridge and Whitney Port.

The New York Post has published a rumor that Stephanie Pratt of “The Hills” fame may be jumping coasts to join Whitney Port and Olivia Palermo on “The City” in New York.

According to the paper’s source, “Now that ‘The Hills’ is over, Stephanie has been talking about moving to New York for ‘The City.’”

“There would be a lot of drama there because her ex-best friend, Roxy Olin, is a regular on the show — and there’s bad blood because Roxy just dropped Stephanie for Whitney Port,” explains the Post‘s source.

That’s all well and good… but Pratt hasn’t been added to the cast, at least not yet.

While rumors that MTV had canceled “The City” were wrong, there are still major unmade decisions concerning the next season. MTV sources tell Gossip Cop that producers have not discussed Pratt’s possible involvement.

The newly separated Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt catch a lot of flak for using drama to drum up publicity.

But the tabloids can’t claim innocence. As much as participating in “The Hills” skews the “reality” of the former couple’s lives, it’s nothing compared to the fabrications littering mag pages.

Now Star magazine (once again) flashes its talent for generating needless drama, announcing “Heidi’s Pregnancy Scare!”

Montag is “ready for the next chapter in her life,” including a new series with friend Jen Bunney, reports the tab. “But there could be one big development standing in the way: a baby!”

Sure, there could be a baby, but one presumes Star has actual evidence that Montag might be expecting a child at the moment.

Nope.

One of her “friends” tells the tabloid Montag “really freaked out” when she recently felt bloated and nauseous, fearing she was pregnant. An alleged test came up negative, the “friend” continues, “But it’s so early on that Heidi can’t be sure she’s not pregnant.”

She can be sure. She’s not pregnant.

The only ones even suggesting that she is work at Star, and there’s so little to the rumor, even Montag’s supposed “pregnancy test” came back negative. Which will prove convenient when she doesn’t give birth.

Separating from Pratt was probably a lot easier for Montag than separating from baseless, contrived “news” will be.

Montag made it official at the Santa Monica courthouse this morning, listing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason and June 8 as the date of separation.

Once legally separated, her earnings from this moment on become her exclusive property.

The reality TV stars decided to split last month.

Rising to fame on MTV’s “The Hills,” the couple wed in Mexico in November 2008 and again in California on April 25, 2009.

Montag’s rep confirmed the split to Gossip Cop: ”Heidi appreciates all the support and concern, we hope everyone will respect her privacy during this difficult time.”

Montag left Pratt for allegedly being too controlling and to more openly pursue her acting career.

Just earlier this week, Montag tweeted, “PS: I am not Heidi Pratt, I am Heidi Montag.”

The usually vocal Pratt has been surprisingly silent on the subject of their breakup.

Police arrived at the Los Angeles home of Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag after the couple called the authorities claiming Montag’s mother refuses to leave their property, according to a report.

Montag’s mom, Darlene Egelhoff, “just showed up to the house unannounced… and after what she did to me on national TV, I have no desire to see her,” Montag tells TMZ.

The site says Egelhoff showed up “pounding on the door,” leading Montag to call the cops. Of Egelhoff she reportedly said, “Her showing up is completely out of line and psychotic. I’m getting a restraining order against her.”

Montag and Pratt appear on “The Hills,” on which Egelhoff recently expressed displeasure with her daughter’s radical plastic surgery.

Could “The Hills” still be alive with the sound of rolling cameras?

A surprising E! Online “exclusive” claims the twelve episodes beginning on Tuesday, billed as the “final season,” may NOT be the last we see of the hit series.

The report quotes star Kristin Cavallari as saying, “There’s a possibility of them ordering 12 more episodes.”

But… hasn’t it already been determined that this is the final season for Lauren Conrad replacement Cavallari, along with Brody Jenner, Audrina Patridge, Lauren Bosworth, Spencer Pratt, Heidi Montag, and America’s other favorite shrinking violets?

Yes, it has.

“This is truly the last of ‘The Hills’ because we want the season to go out on a high note that the show deserves and that the fans deserve,” Tony DiSanto, MTV‘s President of Programming and Development, told Gossip Cop, adding, “This season delivers the drama, the story and the organic culmination of the story.”

Unfortunately for fans, it’s indeed time to say goodbye.

“The Hills” are alive with the sound of gossip.

And according to the rumor mill, it will soon be divorce for America’s Sweethearts, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt.

Two weeks ago, Montag announced that she’d fired Pratt as her manager, leading to widespread speculation the pair would dissolve more than just professional ties.

Now OK! magazine claims Montag “walked out on her husband” after less than a year and a half of marriage. “She’s moving out of her house and away from Spencer,” a “source” tells the tab.

Meanwhile, sources “close to the couple” have told Hollyscoop.com that “things are very rocky between the two, and we’re surprised if they survive the year together.”

Montag and Pratt, though, assure there’s nothing to the split speculation.

“I’m not moving out,” Montag says. “I love Spencer with all my heart.”

Her husband adds, “I love my wife more now than I ever thought I could.”

And a rep for the couple also tells Gossip Cop that talk of a split is “not true.”

Whether the couple is in it for the long haul remains to be seen, of course, but the notion that they’re living apart and preparing for an imminent breakup doesn’t ring true.

For the time being, they’ll continue soaking up publicity — together.

It looks like no crime was committed. Reportedly, someone became suspicious when someone with a pillowcase over his or her head was rushed into the house. Speculation is that it may have simply been to avoid being photographed.

Police were summoned to the home of Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, where there was a call for a “possible kidnapping.”

The Los Angeles Police Department blocked off the street near the reality TV stars’ house and swarmed the area, reports TMZ. Several cops “jumped the fence.” A man was arrested and briefly handcuffed in the back of a police car, but sources now claim the man was uncuffed and released.

The man who had been cuffed says he “works for Spencer Pratt.”

There’s never a lack of drama around Spencer and Heidi.
