The polygamist Browns, a family that includes four wives and 16 children, plan to go to court on Wednesday to protect themselves from possible prosecution.

The stars of polygamy reality show “Sister Wives” are speaking out after news broke that the family is the focus of a felony bigamy investigation. “We are disappointed in the announcement of an investigation, but when we decided to do this show, we knew there would be risks,” said the Browns in a statement to Gossip Cop.

Sarah Palin is set for reality TV stardom.

Her TLC program, “Sarah Palin’s Alaska,” will premiere at 9:00 pm on November 14, it was announced on Friday.

“It’s become clear it takes a special individual to thrive in Alaska,” says network president Eileen O’Neill of the state’s former governor. The series will follow Palin as she does “rogue” things like fishing for salmon and hiking on a glacier.
