Alice in Wonderland posted the best 3D and IMAX openings in history — even bigger than Avatar — with a total domestic weekend haul of over $115 million.

The Tim Burton fantasy starring Johnny Depp and newcomer Mia Wasikowska is also the biggest March release ever.

The New York Post is reporting that while out of Bar Refaeli’s sight, “Leonardo DiCaprio flirted with a string of pretty blondes” at a pre-Oscar party at the Chateau Marmont two days ago.

According to a New York Post source, “Leo was surrounded by a gaggle of girls all night,” and at around 3 a.m. he left the party with a male friend, “followed by three girls.” Really?

Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese are still on top.

Their psychological thriller, Shutter Island, remained #1 at the box office this weekend. The film’s $22.2 million haul beat the openings of Cop Out ($18.6 million) and The Crazies ($16.5 million).

All-time champ Avatar passed the $700 million domestic mark.

Leonardo DiCaprio appears to have fended off Bruce Willis and a bunch of crazies.

According to box office projections, Shutter Island, last week’s #1 and the best opening of DiCaprio’s career, will stay in the top spot this weekend with roughly $21 million.

This week’s two big debuts are estimated to round out the top 3. Cop Out, starring Willis and Tracy Morgan, projects to an $18.5 million haul, while small town horror flick The Crazies is expected to take in about $15 million.

There are rumors everywhere that Leonardo DiCaprio and Bar Refaeli got engaged on Valentine’s Day.

According to numerous outlets, Refaeli was seen wearing “what looks to be a gold band on her left ring finger” while attending the Cinema For Peace Gala with DiCaprio in Berlin tonight. The actor’s film Shutter Island debuted this weekend at the Berlin Film Festival. The couple is rumored to have become engaged at Hotel de Rome in that city before dinner yesterday.
