Kim Kardashian may shortly file a defamation lawsuit against Bret Lockett, the NFL player who claims he had a five-month affair with the reality star behind her fiancé Kris Humphries’ back.

Kardashian’s lawyers sent off a legal letter to Lockett last week, demanding he retract his “false and malicious statements.” But since Lockett ignored the letter and went on CNN on Friday to talk about the “affair,” Kardashian’s team is preparing to take him to court, a source confirms to Gossip Cop.
