According to the tab, while filming a horse-drawn buggy scene in London, co-star Jude Law jerked the whip handle at the wrong moment and smacked Downey in the eye, “knocking him flat.”

“One of the most sought-after Hollywood roles has been filled,” declares the story. Supposedly, Guy Ritchie has cast Daniel Day-Lewis as Holmes nemesis Professor Moriarty.

“The Oscar-winner will join Robert Downey, Jr. and Jude Law in the follow-up,” announces the Sun.

The home of “Sherlock Holmes” director Guy Ritchie was broken into earlier today, confirm the police.

Ritchie was in his English country estate, which he and Madonna bought years ago, when an unnamed 29-year-old man broke into the house.
