Lindsay Lohan just had her probation revoked, and was handcuffed and taken into custody after a scheduled progress hearing on Wednesday.

Judge Stephanie Sautner was furious with Lohan for being kicked out of the Downtown Women’s Center for blowing off nine appointments, noting that with all of the actress’ past legal run-ins, “probation is a gift.”

Lindsay Lohan went to face Judge Stephanie Sautner in court today for a progress report, which was scheduled in April when she plead no contest to misdemeanor in her necklace theft case.

While Lohan was not found in violation of her probation, the judge was frustrated with her progress.

Did Lindsay Lohan try to make a run for it?

No, but the actress’ electronic monitoring ankle bracelet did go off earlier this week, prompting probation officers to visit her Venice townhouse, where the actress is serving 35 days of detention.

It turns out that the monitor malfunctioned, sending an alert even though Lohan was right where she’s been ordered to be – at home, reading scripts and watching television.

Lindsay Lohan reportedly plans to plead “no contest” in her necklace theft case, according to a source for the Associated Press.

By not fighting the misdemeanor charge in court, Lohan could have the matter officially resolved, although it’s possible she’d face additional penalties.

Prosecutors allege that Lohan stole a $2,500 necklace from the Kamofie & Co. jewelery store in Venice, Calif. on January 22.

Lindsay Lohan called her 120-day jail sentence “shocking” and said it left her “kind of numb” when she sat down with Jay Leno on a surprise appearance on the “Tonight Show” that airs tonight.

Lindsay Lohan was just sentenced to 120 days in jail for violating her probation.

Judge Stephanie Sautner remanded the actress into custody. Lohan posted bail and was released three hours later.

The decision comes after Lohan’s felony grand charge theft was reduced to a misdemeanor.

Judge Stephanie Sautner just accepted lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley’s request to downgrade Lohan’s felony grand theft charge for allegedly swiping a $2,500 necklace to a misdemeanor in today’s critical preliminary hearing.
