“Sarah Jessica Parker got called for jury duty yesterday, but didn’t appear eager to serve,” reports the New York Post.

The paper says Parker was overheard “griping to another prospective panelist about the better things she had to do than cool her heels in Manhattan federal court,” and reportedly had a few excuses why she couldn’t serve. However, Parker NEVER tried to get out of jury duty, and even tells Gossip Cop that she’s “one of the few who enjoys jury duty.”

“The duo were seen having a cozy meeting over drinks on April 13 at the Chateau Marmont,” reports Star, and the tabloid claims to know exactly what was discussed.

Star says it’s “exclusively learned that the ‘American Idol’ host and TV producer is considering a fashion-based reality show that would star the ‘Sex and the City’ babe,” and the tab “hears that SJP is very interested.”
