“Sex and the City” fans shouldn’t get too excited because, despite what Jennifer Hudson told a TV show, Gossip Cop has learned that a third film is probably not going to happen.

On Thursday, Hudson revealed to “Dish Nation” there were talks about another Sex and the City movie, but a source connected to the hit series tells Gossip Cop, “Everyone likes to talk about it, but it’s so unlikely.”

AnnaSophia Robb, who starred in Soul Surfer and played Violet in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, has been tapped to star as a young Carrie Bradshaw in the CW’s “Sex and the City” prequel “The Carrie Diaries.”

“The Carrie Diaries,” which tells the story of a young Bradshaw coming of age in Manhattan in the 1980s — with questions about love, sex and other issues for teen angst — is based on the novel of the same name by Candace Bushnell.

There’s been a lot of speculation about a possible ‘Sex and the City’ prequel to be based on Candace Bushnell’s novels detailing the early lives of the famous female quartet at the center of the HBO series and feature films.

Well, the Daily Mail got tired of waiting for news and decided to fabricate some.

According to the paper, Blake Lively is “rumoured” for the role of Samantha Jones with Emma Roberts as Miranda Hobbes and Selena Gomez as Charlotte York.

Elizabeth Olsen, meanwhile, would take Sarah Jessica Parker’s place as Carrie Bradshaw.

“Sarah Jessica Parker got called for jury duty yesterday, but didn’t appear eager to serve,” reports the New York Post.

The paper says Parker was overheard “griping to another prospective panelist about the better things she had to do than cool her heels in Manhattan federal court,” and reportedly had a few excuses why she couldn’t serve. However, Parker NEVER tried to get out of jury duty, and even tells Gossip Cop that she’s “one of the few who enjoys jury duty.”
