When Gossip Cop confirmed – for the third time – that Kristen Stewart didn’t participate in Scream 2009, we thought that’d be the end of it. After all, the only “evidence” to the contrary was that Stewart happened to fly from Vancouver to Los Angeles on the same day the awards show taped. Everything else – official statements, unofficial statements, the fact Stewart didn’t attend the ceremony – seemed to suggest she would not be a part of it. Never underestimate the stubbornness of bad gossip.

All week there was speculation about whether Kristen Stewart would attend Spike TV’s Scream 2009 event. All week Gossip Cop’s reporting stayed consistent. Tonight it finally taped. So was she there?

The Scream 2009 Awards on Spike TV will be taped tomorrow at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. As we reported on Monday, “Twilight” actor Taylor Lautner will be there, and there will be a premiere of new footage from “New Moon.” But speculation has persisted that some of Lautner’s co-stars will also be making unannounced appearances.
