The couple, who welcomed daughter Charlotte in 2009, will soon give their little one a sibling, according to Us Weekly.

“Sarah Michelle Gellar is expecting her second child,” reports the National Enquirer, which adds how the actress and husband Freddie Prinze Jr. are “hoping for a son!”

The mag says the “Ringer” star was trying to “keep her pregnancy under wraps until the show was picked up for another season,” but word got out when “recent photos on the Los Angeles set of The CW series show[ed] her glowing and looking curvier.” Really?

Sarah Michelle Gellar is returning to “All My Children.”

The actress, who played Kendall Hart on the soap opera from 1993-95, said today at the Television Critics Association’s confab that she’ll take a day off from filming her new CW drama, “Ringer,” to go back to the show that helped launched her career.
