Diane Kruger is in serious talks to join The Host, Gossip Cop can confirm.

The movie, an adaptation of the Stephenie Meyer novel, will star Saoirse Ronan, Max Irons and Jake Abel.

Kruger would play The Seeker, who oversees the parasitic infiltration of Ronan’s Melanie Stryder character by an alien entity.

Max Irons is set to play Jared in The Host, the upcoming movie adaptation of Twilight author Stephenie Meyer‘s novel.

Saoirse Ronan has already been cast as Melanie Stryder, the woman who shares her body with an alien force.

Jake Abel will play Ian, rounding out the sci-fi love triangle.

Armie Hammer has won a royal role.

The actor, who broke through last year in ‘The Social Network,’ will play Prince Andrew Alcott in the upcoming ‘Snow White’ film that features Julia Roberts as the evil Queen.

Producers have yet to cast the title role, although ‘Atonement’ star Saoirse Ronan is believed to be the frontrunner.
