Reality Weekly has had a hard time breaking any news in its first few weeks of publication, so now the tabloid seems happy to try inventing some!

The tabloid’s cover story this week – “Jersey Shore Secrets Revealed!” – includes an item entitled, “The Situation: Is he gay or what?”

Ohh-kay.

As Hurricane Irene begins to hammer the East Coast, Americans can take comfort in knowing that the “Jersey Shore” cast has safely escaped to Los Angeles for tomorrow night’s Video Music Awards.

With severe weather threatening local airports, MTV chartered a private jet to take Snooki, Deena, Vinny and Sammi out of Irene’s path last night, according to TMZ.

The network’s biggest stars will therefore be able to attend its biggest event, which airs live from the Nokia Theatre tomorrow at 6:00 p.m. PT.

“Jersey Shore” couple Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro have split, Gossip Cop confirms.

A source close to the show tells us they’ve been broken up for about a week.

“It’s been a roller coaster,” the source tells Gossip Cop about the couple’s on-again, off-again relationship.
