According to The Daily Mail, Lily Allen is engaged to Sam Cooper.

The paper reports that the singer’s beau popped the question in Bali on Christmas Day.

It’s worth noting, however, that just last month Allen blasted a Mail report claiming she and Cooper were engaged in the wake of her recent miscarriage.

Lily Allen is blasting a gossip columnist who claims Allen and Sam Cooper are planning to marry in the aftermath of her recent miscarriage.

The Daily Mail’s Katie Nicholl quotes a so-called “friend” of the couple as saying, “They realised through their grief that they absolutely adore one another and cannot live without each other.” Nicholl goes on to speculate about the location of the ceremony and reception.

Allen took to Twitter to say exactly what she thought of Nicholl.

Lily Allen was hospitalized last night with septicaemia, a potentially lethal blood poisoning condition.

“She is responding well to treatment and her condition continues to improve,” says the singer’s rep.

“Lily thanks everyone for their messages of support and again asks that she and partner Sam Cooper be left alone whilst she recovers.”

Just days ago, Allen revealed that she suffered a miscarriage after six months of pregnancy.

“It is with great sadness that we have to confirm that Lily Allen and Sam Cooper have lost their baby,” states the rep.

During their “deeply distressing time,” the couple has asked for privacy.
