According to Paramount, “The film tells the heroic story of a dictator who risked his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed.”

The movie is inspired by “Zabibah and the King,” a book supposedly written by Saddam Hussein about a monarch in the Middle East.

The film will tell the story of Queen’s early years, leading pretty much up to the band’s triumphant performance at Live Aid in 1985, and will feature the group’s hits, including “Another One Bites The Dust,” “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “We Are the Champions,” and “We Will Rock You.”
