Forbes has calculated their rundown of “Hollywood’s Top-Earning Screen Couples,” with Harry Potter “couple” Rupert Grint and Emma Watson leading the pack.

‘Harry Potter’ Hits $1 Billion Worldwide

‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2′ passed $1 billion at the worldwide box office on Sunday, a first for history’s most successful film franchise.

2001′s original, ‘Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone,’ came closest to the milestone, with a final tally of $974.8 million. Adjusted for inflation, it’s still the record-holder.

But Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint’s current hit is now racing up the all-time list.

On the heels of last week’s giant ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2′ premiere in London comes today’s much-anticipated event in New York City.

Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint and other stars will walk the red carpet at Lincoln Center, where hundreds of fans have camped out for a chance to bid farewell.

‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2′ will open on July 15, bringing to an end the most successful film franchise in history, as well as a beloved era for a generation that grew up with the books and movies about a boy wizard.

Except Warner Bros. now says it’s NOT an actual, official trailer for the July 15 release – just a very good fan creation.

The Sunday Times has published its annual “Rich List” to great fanfare, and it turns out the keys to early wealth are broomsticks and fangs.

Among the biggest earners under 30 in the United Kingdom are Harry Potter megastars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint, while Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson enjoyed a pretty good year, too.
