The online edition of the UK’S OK! claims that – like legions of other women – Rosie “didn’t manage to keep her cool” when first gazing upon Robert Pattinson.

According to the tab, Rosie, a four-ton elephant, “tried to sit on him” during filming of ‘Water for Elephants’ with Reese Witherspoon.

Pattinson “narrowly escaped being crushed to death,” breathlessly reports OK!. Seriously?

Apparently, when Robert Pattinson isn’t dodging actual danger (courtesy of reckless paparazzi), he has to escape from peril presented by the animal kingdom.

At least that’s what one story claims.

Pattinson “almost died while shooting his new movie ‘Water for Elephants!’” cries a Showbiz Spy item based on the National Enquirer.
