There are a couple of people who are less than thrilled about Rosie O’Donnell‘s new relationship with 40-year-old Michelle Rounds, reports the New York Daily News.

According to the paper, picking up on a piece in this week’s National Enquirer, Rounds’ parents did not know she was gay until O’Donnell told the media they were dating.

Rounds’ father Roger supposedly tells the tabloid, ”It totally hit us out of left field. We only found about Michelle liking girls when all this came out about them a few weeks ago.” Seriously?

At her Rosie Theater Kids Gala last night, the TV host walked the red carpet with Michelle Rounds, whom she met at Starbucks in New York, a source confirms to Gossip Cop.

The couple has been seeing each other for a few months.

“ROSIE & OPRAH: IT’S WAR” blares a headline from In Touch, which claims Rosie O’Donnell and Oprah Winfrey are butting heads over O’Donnell’s talk show on Winfrey’s network OWN. According to a supposed “insider” for the tabloid, the former rivals are bickering about “everything from production details to guests.” Really?

Rosie O’Donnell says Osama bin Laden deserved due process and a trial before Navy SEALS eliminated the 9/11 mastermind in a daring raid last Sunday.

“You don’t want to become what you loathe… wasn’t the whole point of this is that we are not monsters?” wonders O’Donnell during a recent segment of her radio show.

She argues, “You can be upset about the fact that [bin Laden] didn’t have due process, that he didn’t get tried,” later explaining, “Because other people are capable of criminal acts on our soil doesn’t equate to ‘Therefore, we are allowed to do criminal acts on their soil.’” What do you think of O’Donnell’s controversial comment?

Oprah’s legendary studio won’t be empty for too long after the talk empress leaves in May.

Rosie O’Donnell is moving into Harpo Studios in Chicago and will use Oprah’s stage for her new talk show on OWN.

The move will keep the famed studio and many employees in production after “The Oprah Winfrey Show” makes its final exit.
