Demi Lovato sat down today with ABC’s Robin Roberts in a midtown Manhattan studio and taped her first interview since leaving treatment for “emotional and physical issues.”

The conversation will air on “Good Morning America” and “20/20,” although not for at least a week and a half, Gossip Cop has learned.

A source close to the actress tells Gossip Cop that Lovato was not accompanied by other family members during the taping.

ABC will not press charges against Chris Brown for his shocking meltdown yesterday following an appearance on “Good Morning America.” After a segment on “GMA,” during which he was questioned about beating Rihanna, the singer smashed a window in his dressing room with a chair. “GMA” co-anchor Robin Roberts has invited Brown back on the show, which she says he’s “seriously considering.”

Chris Brown had a violent outburst at “Good Morning America” today, allegedly triggered by questions about his infamous beating of Rihanna.

After interviewer Robin Roberts asked Brown about the topic, the performer went ballistic backstage, confronting production staff and screaming so loudly security had to be called.

According to reports, Brown smashed a window in his dressing room with a chair, sending glass onto the Times Square intersection below.
