Robin Roberts made a triumphant return to “Good Morning America” on Wednesday, nearly six months after she left to undergo a bone marrow transplant.

It all kicked off with Roberts looking into the camera and saying, “Hi, it’s Robin. I’ve been waiting 174 days to do this: Good Morning America!”

The procedure, part of the “Good Morning America” anchor’s ongoing treatment for MDS, took took just five minutes.

Her departure came a day before expected, as Roberts will first fly to Mississippi to attend to her ailing mother and family in the hurricane zone.
