The head of the watchdog group cited in Star magazine’s cover story, linking the Kardashians to “slave labor” sweatshops, claims the report is misleading and premature.

Charles Kernaghan, who serves as executive director of the Institute for Global Labour and Human Rights, is quoted in the original piece as saying that the Kardashians are “in bed with some pretty bad people” and use factories in a region notorious for labor abuses.

But he says Star‘s huge “exclusive” tying the family to sweatshops lacks any specific evidence.

It looks like Lindsay Lohan’s old attorney Shawn Chapman Holley will be with her in court today, now that Robert Shapiro bailed out late yesterday.

Holley herself had quit earlier in the month, but will stick with her former client as she’s taken to jail.

Lindsay Lohan’s new lawyer, Robert Shapiro has reportedly quit, just hours before the actress is to turn herself in. As of now, no reason has been given for Shapiro dropping out.

Lindsay Lohan has checked into a rehabilitative facility, according to a new report.

Lohan, who must surrender for her jail sentence on or before Tuesday, reportedly arrived at a sober living home Wednesday afternoon.

The facility was founded by famed attorney Robert Shapiro, Lohan’s new lawyer.
