Lady Gaga Machete Kills Robert Rodriguez

Lady Gaga will make her big-screen acting debut in Machete Kills, the star-studded sequel to 2010′s Machete.

Director Robert Rodriguez made the announcement on Twitter on Thursday: “I just finished working with @LadyGaga on @MacheteKills, she kicked SO MUCH ASS! Holy Smokes. Blown away!”

Rodriguez then posted the official poster featuring Gaga as her character, La Chameleon.

Charlie Sheen is returning to the big screen for the first time in two years.

The actor has been cast as the (fictional) President of the United States in Machete Kills, director Robert Rodriguez announced via Twitter on Thursday night.

Sheen retweeted the announcement, adding “My Fellow Americans!”

Lesson for the New York Post: If you’re going to take a cheap shot at Lindsay Lohan, at least get your facts straight first. In a piece about Robert Rodriguez filming his new film, “Machete” in Austin, the paper has a “Texas-based spy” who says “celebrities like Jessica Alba, Robert De Niro, Michelle Rodriguez and Lindsay Lohan ‘have been camped out’ there.” The item even goes on to say, “Lohan’s been lying low, but we’re sure she’ll become a regular at a swanky bar soon enough.” Low blow – and wrong!

Maybe Fox News needs a reality check after it posted a story on its website that Lindsay Lohan is looking to star in a reality show. According to the Fox News piece, which got picked up and repeated as fact EVERYWHERE, Lohan is looking to do a “reality show that will enscapulate (sic) her trials and tribulations as she gets ‘back on her feet’ and actually becomes a working actress again.”
