“The Hangover Part 2″ scored HUGE at the box office, with a Memorial Day Weekend total of $105 million, making it the best opening in history for an R-rated comedy. Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis’ romp through Bangkok easily takes the top spot.

“Kung Fu Panda 2″ and “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” came in second and third with $62 million and $53 million, respectively. What did you see this holiday weekend?

Chris Hemsworth’s comic book goliath earned $34.5 million this weekend to fend off ‘Bridesmaids,’ the Kristen Wiig-led ensemble comedy, which took second place with a higher than expected $24.4 million. Coming in third was ‘Fast Five,’ which banked $19.5 million in its third weekend.
