Ricki Lake is engaged!

The former talk shot host/actress and her boyfriend Christian Evans are set to marry, Lake announced on Twitter this afternoon.

“Thrilled to share some happy news with you…. I’m engaged!” she wrote, along with a picture of her with Evans.

“The cat is out of the bag,” she added. “Phew! I’m terrible at keeping secrets.”

Ricki Lake’s rented beachfront home in Malibu burned to ashes yesterday morning.

The talk show host and actress was home when the blaze began, but she and her two sons, Milo and Owen, and their dog escaped the flames.
