Neil Patrick Harris, who most recently directed “Rent” on stage at the Hollywood Bowl, is next set to direct his very first feature film.

The romantic comedy, ‘Aaron and Sarah,’ is slated to star Josh Hutcherson and Emma Roberts, and the action takes place over the course of four years of high school. Are you excited for a film directed by Neil Patrick Harris?

Nicole Scherzinger is joining “Rent.”

The recently crowned winner of “Dancing With The Stars” and lead Pussycat Doll will play Maureen in a Hollywood Bowl production of the musical directed by Neil Patrick Harris and co-starring Vanessa Hudgens as stripper Mimi.

Vanessa Hudgens will star as HIV-positive stripper Mimi in this summer’s Hollywood Bowl production of “Rent.”

The three-night staging in August marks Neil Patrick Harris’ directorial debut.

Best known for Disney’s “High School Musical” juggernaut, Hudgens won over Harris to play a very different role.

Neil Patrick Harris is set to make his musical directorial debut.

The “How I Met Your Mother” star will direct “Rent” at the Hollywood Bowl this summer. Harris played Mark Cohen in both the Los Angeles and second national touring productions of the iconic, Tony- and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical.

This summer’s production, however, will mark the first time Harris directs.
